Friday Evening Mass 7:30pm Friday evening Mass will allow us to mark Dé hAoine as a day of reflection on the theme “By your Cross and Resurrection you have set us free.” The homilist or visiting speaker will offer some reflections on how various experiences of suffering can, through the Cross of Christ, lead to healing and new hope. Next Friday: Fr. Kevin will reflect on the Cross for those who are suffering from various kinds of addiction.

The Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal invite you to gather at St. Patrick’s Parish Church in Slane, Co. Meath, to pray together for Ireland in the place where St. Patrick lit the Easter Fire. Event begins at 5:00pm, on Bank Holiday Monday 18 March. Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Tom Deenihan, Bishop of Meath will be followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary’s will be celebrated in Irish. Shamrock will be blessed at all Vigil & Sunday Masses next weekend.
Due to traffic restrictions on Sunday morning, the Railway St. gate to St. Anne’s Garden will be open to facilitate Massgoers.
The annual closure of the grounds of St. Mary’s Church will begin after the 1:00pm Mass on Sunday and will re-open at 7:00am on Monday morning.
Due to the closure of St. Mary’s grounds, Eucharistic Adoration will transfer to St. Oliver’s Church at 1:00pm on Sunday and resume at St. Mary’s at 9:00am on Monday.

This year’s St Patrick’s Day cards feature the roundel of St Patrick over the gallery door on the Fair Green side of St Mary’s Church. Cards at €2 are now available from the Parish Shop. The intentions of all who receive the cards will be remembered in our St Patrick’s Day Masses.
