It is hard to believe that it is almost the end of Term 3 2019 – the year seems to be flying by!
Over the last few weeks the students of Bullarah Public School have participated in a variety of interesting and enjoyable activities. While I was overseas on Long Service Leave Ms Hoath continued literacy lessons on the ‘Narrative’ genre and also looked at Papua New Guinea as the CWA 2019 Country of study. The students had the opportunity to compare various features of PNG with Australia. Year 2 – 5 students also made a power point presentation about PNG. All children enjoyed making traditional Papua New Guinean masks. I thank Ms Hoath for her time at Bullarah Public School.
Last week we went to Ron Harborne Oval in Moree to participate in a cricket gala day. It was absolutely wonderful to see the enjoyment on the faces of our students and to hear their comments about the day. Everyone played with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship while learning some cricket skills. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Archie, James and Xavier from Moree Public School who joined our team for the day. Next week we will be attending another gala day which will have a football focus.
This week we have had Nicole Linke a former Bullarah student for work experience. It has been fantastic having Nicole back in our school
