Page 1 Remediation Weekly Activity Summary Report General Field Activities Completed: Week Ending January 24 General Field Activities Planned: Week Ending January 31 Air Monitoring Summary Week Ending January 24 Weekly Project Meeting Summary: The project team met with Joe Hamilton and Doug Keene of Kaskaskia Engineering on Jan 22 to discuss the finalization of the sewer replacement design and the schedule to submit plans to the City of Columbia. The site team called-in with John Dometrorch of C.L.Richardson also present to discuss the sewer work; C.L.Richardson is likely to be the sewer contractor. KEG is concerned that the double length culvert section necessary to eliminate the junction structure as requested by the City will be very heavy. The junction structure is also important to CLRichardson's plans to construct. KEG will finalize their reports and plans and submit to the City in the next week. KEG will also communicate with the City about continuing to use the junction structure instead of the double length culvert section. C L Richardson described their approach to construction which was consistent with our expactations. C L Richradson provided the following estimates for project task completions: drawings 1 week; steel fabrication 2 weeks; culvert section fabrication 2.5 weeks; installation 2 weeks. The team agreed that C L Richardson should start their efforts ASAP after completing contract discussions with EOI; it is hoped that the sewer reconstruction can be completed during March. It is expected that Phase I work will be completed by mid-February; the extent of Phase II excavations will be tailored to fit the schedule of the sewer installation work and the current culvert removal. KEG agreed to communicate with the City about our revisions and complete their package for the City in the next week. The City can take two weeks to review, but their responses to date have been more rapid. Ameren Columbia MGP - Remedial Action Project Week No.: Period: Completed By: Dave Pluhar 1/20 - 1/24/2014 Two January 22, 2014 PSC Project Number: 624-1302-0002 Excavation in the east end of the Phase I area continued. EOI used three haul trucks on Monday to transport soil to the landfill. Based on the Monday experience and a commitment from Allied to keep the landfill available until 5PM, EOI used 10 trucks on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday to transport soil and managed four loads with most trucks each day. EOI worked a shorter day on Friday but still moved soil from the excavation to the Jefferson City landfill. Ameren, EOI, and PSC met with KEG on January 22 to review the design plans for the sewer replacement. EOI's subcontractor for the sewer work, C.L.Richardson also participated in this meeting by conference call from the Site. Chris Cady visited the Site on Janaury 22. Crockett Engineering collected samples of the stone aggregate backfill from Boone Co. quarry that EOI will use during the project; samples were tested to determine maximum densities according to both Standard and Modified Proctor. Soil excavation will continue. Backfill with aggregate may begin. Remediation phase real-time ambient air monitoring activities continued through Week 2 by Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company (Burns & McDonnell) hourly with a PID, GC, and dust Monitor. No exceedances of the real-time action levels were recorded. Real-time dust concentrations for Week 2 were below action levels at the perimeter of the property. Average real-time concentration graphs are attached. Odors were present intermittently at the perimeter of the site during Week 2. In total, 5 time-averaged, 72-hour air sample events were collected, including baseline, as of January 24th from five perimeter air stations. Time-averaged samples were shipped to Con-Test Analytical Laboratory for analysis. PM10 time-averaged analytical data has been received for sampling events up to January 6, 2014. PAH time- averaged analytical data has been received for sampling events up to January 6, 2014. VOC time-averaged analytical data has been received for sampling events up to January 2, 2014. Time-averaged PM10, naphthalene and benzene concentrations are below the acceptable concentrations of 150 μg/m3, 4.1 μg/m3 and 41.5 μg/m3, respectively.

Excavation in the east end of the Phase I area continued. EOI used three haul trucks on Monday to transport soil to
