Verbs : -are, -ere, -ire + andare + fare
• Never put a verb with a –ARE, IRE or ERE ending in an exercise about conjugation
• Before doing anything, look for the subject
• Only then choose the conjugated form of the verb accordingly with the subject
Example: prendere

Uno studente alto
Why uno ?Because “studente” is masculine and begins with s+consonant(see p.33).
What is “studente “? It’s a masculine noun (p.16).
What is “alto” ? An adjective > therefore it must agree with the noun.Where is the noun ? It’s “studente”, a masculine noun. Alto is the masculine adjective going with the masculine noun (p.110-111)
