Radon gas rises up from underground and can enter anyhome, old or new. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancerafter smoking and for non-smokers, it is the leading cause oflung cancer, period. Houses can be built to resist radon gasfrom seeping in. Designing and building your home to be

radon-resistant is especially easy and affordable during con-struction. Be sure to talk to your builder about it.
