Penha Longa Resort

Immortalized as the most beautiful place in all Europe, the luxuriously green Portuguese hills near Sintra, provides a fairytale heaven, not only ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation, but also to have your breath taken away by the several exquisite summer palaces built here in the 16th century. The Penha Longa Resort is located in Sintra, an impressive surrouding, part of UNESCO’s World Heritage. This property of 220 hectars, only 25 minutes away from Lisbon’s International Airport and 10 minutes From Estoril’s Sea Coast, holds 194 bedrooms with balconies and amazing panoramic view’s over the golf courses. Nossa Senhora da Saúde Church

Penha Longa Monastery Within our property you can find a vast set of constructed heritage, living testemounies of remarkable events, deeply attached to Portugal’s one and only History. With the protection of King João I, and the Pope’s permission, the church was built in 1400 and named as Nossa Senhora da Saúde and, from that moment on, the religious community proceeds with their religious activity even nowadays. It has the possibility to fit up to 200 seated guests.

National Monument since 1910, the Church has a single nave with an elegant Renaissance lantern over the church’s cross shaped plant. An impressive Baroque altarpiece, in carved and gilded wood, is found inside, along with figures of Saint Jerome and Saint Paula.

Adens Garden

Capacity up to 1000 guests in a Cocktail setting or 500 guests in a Banquet setting, with à la carte service.

Porca’s Fountain Garden

Attached to the Adens Garden, it is the ideal place for holding outdoor Lunches and Wedding Ceremonies.

Nobre Room One of the most beautiful rooms of the Monastery, the Nobre room is the perfect choice for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, with a capacity up to 80 seated places.

Nobre Room The Nobre room is located on the ground floor of the Monastery and it has direct access to the Adens Garden. It once was the Saint Jerónimo’s Order monks refectory and after being damaged by the earthquake of 1755, it became this noble vaulted room.

It is a fantastic choice for Cocktail receptions and for helding Lunches or Dinners in a Banquet setting, with a full capacity to fit up to 70 guests in round tables.

Arcos Room

Located at the floor below the old dormitaries room, the Arcos room used to be used as a place to keep harvester equipment. Full capacity to fit up to 180 guests in a Banquet style setting.

Coroa Room

Knowned as the Conventual Dorm, the Coroa room was built in the XVIII century, it was where the Convent tresures used to be kept. Capacity up to 570 guests in a Banquet setting set menu style.

Núncio Garden

The Núncio Garden is located next to the Monastery, and it used to be used as a meditation area by the Monastery’s monks back in the XIV century. It has a capacity ofup to 200 guests in a Banquet style setting.
