Wedding Booking FormTerms and Conditions Club Macquarie Function and Accommodation Centre1. Deposit:

To secure your booking we require a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions consent form along with relevant room hire which is nonrefundable. At this time you will be required to inform us of your estimated numbers.

2. Confirmation:

All catering, beverage requirements, seating plans and final attendee numbers must be confirmed 12 days prior to your function. This number will be regarded as the final number for catering purposes and you will be charged accordingly, even if fewer guests attend the reception. Adjustments to increase numbers must be given and paid for no later than 48 hours prior to your function. Any changes to set up within 24 hours may incur a fee.

3. Payment:

6 months prior to your wedding you will be required to pay a 25% deposit followed by a further 25% 3 months prior to your wedding. Balance of payment is required 7 days prior to your wedding. Payment can be made by cash, eftpos or credit card (surcharge applies). Personal cheques will only be accepted by prior arrangement with management. Payment plans available on request.

4. Cancellation:

Cancellations must be in writing and posted, faxed or emailed to Club Macquarie. In the event of Cancellation you will forfeit you room hire fee. Cancellations 3 months or less prior to wedding date will forfeit 25% deposit. . If cancellation occurs 3 weeks or less you will forfeit your 50% deposit for your reception.

5: Bar Account:

If you wish to run a bar account, you will need to supply credit card details prior to your wedding to allow for the processing of your account at the end of the night. Beverages will be charged on a consumption basis and payment is required on the night. Please feel free to set a bar limit. If paying your bar account by cash you must set your limit prior to your wedding and supply that cash to Club Macquarie 24 hours prior to your reception.

6. Price Changes:

Every endeavor is made to maintain prices originally quoted to you, but they are subject to change particularly where bookings are made well in advance. Price rises can be influenced by product, wage or government increases. Confirmation of your prices will be given 3 months from your wedding reception. 7. Dietary Requirements:

Must be advised no less than 7 days in advance.


8. Damage

No Blue tack, sticky tape, drawing pins drawing pins, confetti, glitter etc; are to be used anywhere in function rooms including walls and ceilings. The person signing the booking form will be financially responsible for any damages or extra cleaning sustained to the premises during your wedding. *Please note, we only allow Float candles and Tea light candles

9. Loss:

Club Macquarie will take all necessary care, but does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise during your wedding. It is strongly advised that if you are having a wishing well or similar wedding gifts that may include cash that a designated person be placed in charge of this for the evening. Club Macquarie is not responsible for any gifts given on the night. All items of value must be removed from the room at the end of the function.

10: Membership:

Owing to Government Regulations, all guests entering Club Macquarie Ltd must fall under one of the following categories

i) Financial Member (membership card must be shown)

ii) Social member (card must be shown)

iii) Signed in by a member (visitors who reside within the 5 km radius who are not a member of Club Macquarie Ltd must be signed in by a full member)

All attendee’s of your wedding that are not members of Club Macquarie and live within a 5 km radius must sign on the appropriate function sheet. The member who booked the wedding will then be required to register their guests by signing alongside each name on the sheet to use Club Macquarie facilities. Any guest leaving the function will be required to sign in at reception when entering any other part of Club Macquarie facilities.

11: Responsible Service of Alcohol:

Club Macquarie fully supports the responsible service of alcohol and we reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol to anyone who we believe is intoxicated. Club Macquarie reserves the right to ask for identification of any person we believe to be under the age of 18 years. Your co-operation to ensure that underage drinking does not occur at your wedding function is required.

12. Changes on the Day:

Club Macquarie reserves the right to decline any changes on the day that may be requested by family members, master of ceremonies’ etc. Only the bride or groom has the authority to make any changes on the day. Please make sure your family and guests are aware of this condition so our employees are not placed in embarrassing positions.

13. Child Seating:

Please advise table number where children are seated and require high-chairs in advance.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

As Club Macquarie is fully licensed guests are prohibited in bringing food and or beverages onto the premises. We do allow for celebration cakes such as Wedding/birthday cakes with prior notice. In line with health regulations no leftover food is to be taken by guests from Club Macquarie premises. If this does occur Club Macquarie takes no responsibility.
