In 2016, Langdon Hall opened the doors to a one of a kind event venue designed for celebrations for up to 120 guests.

A turn of the century revival estate, Langdon Hall is a comfortable retreat offering that home away from home atmosphere. Our famed gardens offer the perfect backdrop for memorable pictures and a serene setting for a pre-dinner cocktail reception. Our gorgeous private dining rooms are the ideal setting for a lovely intimate ceremony followed by an elegant meal. The atmosphere at Langdon Hall is one of style and class, the right combination for a remarkable wedding that you and your guests will fondly remember.

COLONEL LANGDON’S ROOM & CONSERVATORY

Maximum 20 Guests $700.00 Rental(11:30a.m. - 4:00p.m. or 4:30p.m. - 11:00p.m.)The Colonel Langdon’s Room is the perfect location for an intimate wedding celebration. Situated in our Main House, Colonel Langdon’s was the original dining room for the house. This space features a long antique dining table, fireplace and windows overlooking the grounds. An adjoining private conservatory is the perfect setting for the ceremony and reception prior to being seated in Colonel Langdon’s Room for a memorable meal.

Guest room committments are required for dinner celebrations.

Maximum 56 Guests$2,000.00 Rental(11:30a.m. - 5:00p.m. Lunch Events)This stunning room boasts floor to ceiling windows overlooking our orchard on the outskirts of the Carolinian Forest. For spring, summer and early fall weddings, your ceremony can be hosted outdoors in the apple orchard or amongst the trees. An indoor ceremony can be held in our Carolinian Room. From May to October, a cocktail and canapé reception will follow on the Orchard Terrace, with a lunch served in the Orchard Room.

FIRSHADE ROOM & SUMMER HOUSE

Maximum 120 Guests $3,250.00 Rental (11:30a.m. - 5:00p.m. or 4:30p.m. - 1:00a.m.)Langdon Hall’s largest event space accommodates up to 120 guests for a seated meal. Located by the lower garden, this elegantly appointed space offers floor to ceiling windows with a stunning garden view. From May to October, a ceremony can be hosted outside in the venue’s adjoining Summer House, an open-air wooden pavilion. A reception will follow on the lawns and move inside for a meal, and dance if desired. During the winter months, a ceremony can be hosted inside the adjoining Firshade Hall or Orchard Room.

Surrounded by a “sense of place” at Langdon Hall, Executive Chef Jason Bangerter’s culinary approach is inspired by the gardens, bees and forest just outside his kitchen. His philosophy on using local ingredients and promoting sustainable choices is embraced by a talented culinary team, who share the same vision. Our menus reflect the change of the seasons and are created with wholesome natural products that have been prepared with care and respect.

As a long-time Ocean Wise partner, Langdon Hall only offers 100% sustainable seafood choices. Our commitment to the Ocean Wise program enables our guests to benefit from delicious and sustainable choices while promoting the health of our oceans for generations to come.

As Canada’s 4th best restaurant (2020), Langdon Hall’s 75 acre estate features fresh garden-grown and wild edible ingredients that pair perfectly with our creative culinary talent in the kitchen. The result is award-winning cuisine that delights the palate and keeps our guests coming back for more.

As a Feast On certified partner, Langdon Hall supports local farmers, foragers and artisans by ensuring 80% of all food and drink in the restaurant is sourced locally from Ontario. Our menus are designed to highlight local and seasonal ingredients that complement the unique offerings of the region.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Langdon Hall is pleased to offer overnight accommodations to guests attending your wedding at a preferred room rate. A room block can be established for up to 15 guest rooms/suites for wedding guests to individually reserve. This rate is available for group blocks prearranged at the time of signing your contract.

Upgrade charges apply for suite and junior suite accommodations. Breakfast is available to hotel guests at an additional cost.

It is recommended that couples arrive the evening prior to the wedding to allow for a true pampering experience the day of the wedding. Hairdressers and makeup artists can be arranged for in-room service beginning after 8:30a.m. the morning of the wedding. Start your day with a mimosa while preparing for your most memorable occasion in the comfort of a beautifully appointed guest room or suite. Langdon Hall’s accommodations provide the perfect backdrop for photos. Langdon Hall’s check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Langdon Hall’s check-out time is 11:00a.m.
