This package is complimentary when booking at least 7 nights in the Preferred Club Junior Suite or higher or if 5 rooms, any category, are booked for at least 3 nights. This package also applies for renewal of vows ceremony.

Legal Ceremony

For a ceremony to be legal in Mexico it is required to be in Spanish and we therefore provide you with simultaneous translation at the moment of the ceremony. There are certain requirements and paper work needed for this type of wedding which needs to be sent prior to your arrival to Los Cabos and for us to be able to send your marriage application to the Civil Court in Los Cabos:

• Copy of Photo ID from bridal couple

• Copy of birth certificates from bridal couple

• 4 witnesses and Copy of their photo ID

• Documentation for legal ceremonies (document to be provided by your wedding coordinator)

• Blood test to be performed at the hotel for the couple ($200.00 USD)

• Copy of the Migration form (form you will receive at Los Cabos Airport when you arrive)

You will be given your Marriage License on your wedding day, please note that you will still need to check with your City/Town Hall on the requirements to validate your marriage with the Marriage License we provide.

Symbolic Ceremony

This type of ceremony is performed in English by a minister. There is no paper work nor blood test or additional fees involved. The couple needs to get to Los Cabos at least 2 week days before the wedding day. We put the minister in contact with the couple with months in advance so they can work together on the vows.

Please note that a symbolic ceremony does not have any legal validation in Mexico or any other country.

Types of Ceremonies

Please make sure to provide your wedding coordinator with all the wedding details the latest one month before the wedding.

Wedding Ceremonies are usually held 1and a half to 2 hrs before sunset to ensure there is enough light for your sunset pictures, please ask your wedding coordinator when would the best time be, depending on the season.

For the external events the music curfew is at 10 :30 pm. If you wish to continue the event please ask your wedding coordinator for the different options.

Wedding Group’s Dining, Please note that we are not able to make reservations at any of our restaurants for groups wanting to dine at the same time. For more than 10 guests different policies will apply.

For Dinner Menus:

You are requested to have one set menu for a plated dinner, but in case that it will be necessary we are able to have up to 3 main course options. You will be required to provide the quantities and final count of each plate 1 month prior to your wedding and on the wedding date to provide place cards which will need to be color or figure coded.

For a buffet dinner style there is a minimum of 40 guest required.

Additional Services: Please be advised that all services (decorations, entertainment, flowers, video, photography, fire show or any other type of service) can be coordinated directly by your wedding coordinator. In case that you wish to contact or bring your own vendor, please make sure to let your coordinator know before confirming and be aware that this will incur an additional fee.

Wedding Policies

Room deliveries: If you are bringing welcome bags for your guests, we can gladly accommodate those in the suites; for this there is a fee of $3.50 us per room and all room deliveries are to be done in the afternoon.

Spa and beauty Salon services will need to be booked prior to your arrival to the hotel in order to ensure space and personnel availability.

CEREMONY REHEARSAL

Please let your wedding coordinator know if you would like arrange a ceremony rehearsal with your bridal party. Rehearsals can be scheduled before 3PM and are based on availability.

REHEARSAL DINNER

Please also let your coordinator know if you plan to have a group rehearsal dinner. Options include:

A semi-private event at one of our restaurants. Due to the size of our restaurants, we’ll be able to accommodate groups of up to 30 guests (or 50 maximum at our buffet restaurant). Groups will be received only at the fist seating which is 6:00 pm and depending on the size of the group, a pre-set menu may be required. A fee of $20.00 per person will apply.

A private event at one of our event locations. We also have theme night options for a fun and unique twist to a rehearsal dinner.

FLOWERS

The flowers included in the wedding packages are a combination of local seasonal flowers which include: Lilies, Gerber Daisies, Astromelias, Roses, Iris, Sunflowers, Gladiolas, Belen flowers and Hydrangeas. Provided are some sample are some sample images of the basic bouquet, boutonniere and centerpieces for the tables, gazebo or tables.

Deposit PolicyA deposit is required to confirm and hold the requested wedding date. Deposit requirements vary based on wedding package purchased. Deposit of $100.00 is required to reserve the Wedding in Paradise Package; a deposit of $500.00 is required to reserve the Love or Ultimate Wedding Package. This deposit can then be applied toward ceremony and/or reception upgrades which have been purchased in addition to the wedding package.

If the wedding couple chooses not to purchase additional ceremony and/or reception amenities, the credit can then be applied toward any room charges upon check out, including but not limited to phone charges, spa treatments and logo shop purchases. Any remaining credit balance will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy: The wedding can be canceled six or more months prior to the confirmed date without penalties. If the wedding is canceled within six months, the non-refundable deposit will be kept as a penalty. If the wedding is canceled, but the couple still travels as planned, the deposit can then be applied toward any additional room charges made during their stay.

Payment Options The entire payment must be paid in full two days prior to the wedding, after the first meeting with the wedding coordinator. The final wedding payment must be paid with traveler’s checks or credit card.

• Payments with traveler checks (American Express) require a passport.

• The following credit cards will be accepted: Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

• Personal checks will not be accepted as a form of payment.

The following list of legal requirements are needed only for legal marriage. The Dreams Los Cabos Wedding Coordinator must receive the following documents to begin the application for marriage in the Civil Registry Office.

• The following list of legal requirements are needed only for legal marriage. Bride and groom are required to arrive to Los Cabos at least 2 week days before the wedding day. Witnesses are only required to be present on the day of the wedding. Symbolic and non-legal ceremonies allow flexibility for arrival date. Please speak with the wedding coordinator to discuss requirements

• The Dreams Los Cabos Wedding Coordinator must receive the following scanned documents via e-mail to be able to begin the application for marriage in the Civil Registry Office: - Bride and Groom’s birth certificates - Bride and Groom’s IDs (driver’s license or passport) - Tourist card (this is given to you upon entry to Mexico) - If bride or groom are divorced, the final divorce decree is needed - Witnesses IDs

• $220 USD fee for blood test that must be taken in Mexico. To be considered valid, the test can not be taken more than 14 days prior to the ceremony. The blood will be tested for HIV, STD’s (sexually transmitted diseases) and blood type. The results will be ready in 24 hours together with a certificate of the blood test and the fee will be paid directly to the doctor in cash the day the test is administered.

• The names, addresses, nationalities, ages, occupation, relationship, copy of a tourist card and a valid identification of the 4 witnesses. Wedding Coordinator will send you the legal form. The witnesses can be relatives, friends or anyone who has a valid passport.

• The Marriage Certificate is only valid in Mexico. In order to make it legal internationally, we encourage our guests to have their Marriage Certificate translated through www.ultratranslate.com.
