Dear AHEPA Family: Now that we have turned theleaf of the year 2006 and started on the way to the75th Annual Convention of the District, I would be re-miss if I failed to thank the members of the DistrictLodge for their support during the year. Especially Iwant to thank the Lieutenant Governor Nick Harrisonwho has been my traveling companion and strongsupporter. During the year we held three Chapter Of-ficers Orientation and Leadership Seminars. Theywere well attended except the one in my home stateof Virginia The Power Point presentation on thefounding and organization of AHEPA was well re-ceived and probably should be shown to each chap-ter in the District. In discussions with other Brothersof the District they felt it might be of great benefit tonew members who know nothing about the organiza-tion and mission of AHEPA. I will be available duringthe year to make a presentation to your chapter (withenough advanced notice). Thanks to all the ChapterPresidents who attended..
Thanks to the new webmaster Loucas [email protected]. Fantastic job –1200 HITS.
Thank you for the experience of being DistrictGovernor of the largest District in AHEPA.
My best wishes for health and happiness to you all.
Nicholas E. Gretakis District Governor

for the Ladies Orthodox
Benevolent Society Charity of

offered included: crosses made from olive wood, Christmas ornaments and
Nativity scenes, hand-stitched cloth purses and wall hangings.
Richmond D.O.P. President Mary Mitchell said, "We are very pleased
