What time is it??

What time is it? or What's the time?

It’s 8:20 / It’s 10:50.

Η ώρα βέβαια θα είναι κάποιος ακέραιος αριθμός από το 1 έως και το 12. 2:00 => It’s two o’ clock

Τεταρτο – (a) quarter Οταν η ώρα είναι και τεταρτο, τότε χρησιμοποιούμε το (a)quarter past αμέσως μετά το it’s αλλά πριν την ώρα. Δηλαδη λέμε ‘ειναι ενα τεταρτο μετα τις.....’. 6:15 => It’s (a) quarter past six

Οταν η ώρα είναι παρα τεταρτο, τότε χρησιμοποιούμε το (a)quarter to αμέσως μετά το it’s αλλά πριν την ώρα. Δηλαδη λέμε ‘ειναι ενα τεταρτο πριν τις.....’. 8:45 => It’s (a) quarter to nine

Και – past ten past five

Παρα – to twenty five to twelve

Page 88: WEBKIDS - THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENTLesson 9 (C ardinal and Ordinal Numbers) 1 Lesson 7 (Telling the Time) 2 Lesson 22 (Adjectives ending in –ed / -ing) 3 Lesson 28 (Both, Either, Neither,

10:24 => It’s almost twenty five past ten

A. Match the time on the right with the time on the left.
