When objects are placed together, we use ordinal numbers to tell the position.

We can tell the position of the objects from the left or right.

From the left:

1st - orange2nd - lemon3rd - watermelon4th - grapes

From the right:

1st - grapes2nd - watermelon3rd - lemon4th - orange
