    • U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Headquarter-funded job readiness program

    • Targets under/unemployed community members

    • Provides remediation/hazardous waste cleanup training

    • Relationships built with local businesses, community organizations, federal agencies, and other interested parties

    • Applicant recruitment

    What communities are eligible?

    • Superfund Sites

    • Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Sites

    • Federal facilities

    • Tribal removal sites

    Working with Site contractors

    • Discussions with contractors prior to program start

    • Generally, a minimum of 8-10 entry-level jobs must be projected

    • Job details/requirements discussed ahead of time

    • Relevant training courses/certifications included
