Well, the main issue is the document traffic between the
Contractor and the Supplier(s) Get control of what to deliver and
when To be able to deliver correct documents, on time Keep track on
document delivery dates and actual deliveries On large projects, it
is essential to predict, control and monitor the incoming and
outgoing of documentation. Usually driven by workflow/transmittals,
and revisions/status. Offer reporting on status (delay, look ahead

A tailor made ProArc SharePoint Portal for Client/Contractor
and their Suppliers Documents can be uploaded/published from ProArc
Supports review and approval activities When documents/files are
ready for review they are sent to (the Client/Contractors) ProArc,
one or several files can be transferred When the document is
reviewed by the project, a status is returned to the Supplier Room
telling the Supplier if the document is accepted or not, if not, a
non-acceptance code is given and a new due date is set for the
document to be re-issued Repeat until acceptance is reached
Suppliers perform and maintain their document deliveries through
the Supplier Room and can create new ones any time Normally a
workflow is used in ProArc for the review process, but this can
also be done without using the workflow module/feature
Documentation for info can be sent to any Supplier/Interface party
