page and adding the ingredients to a bowl. In the end you will have a meaningful

Thanksgiving treat to share with family & friends.

1.The Mayflower

The Pilgrims took a ship called the Mayflower to America to find religious freedoom. They

landed in the winter.

Living on sometimes a few kernels of corn a day, the pilgrims starved during the hard

winter.

3. Arms Folded in Prayer

With the help of prayer, faith, and their Native American friends, they were able to survive.

4. Planting Seeds

Once the winter passed, the pilgrims started planting seeds so they could grow food and not

be hungry next winter.

5. The Harvest

The plants grew and the Pilgrims were blessed with a harvest of food. They were very

thankful to have this food.

6. Cornucopia

“The Horn of Plenty” symbolizes food and abundance. Let us be thankful for the food

and freedoms we now have.
