60 minutes of Music

Create your own instrument! All non-electronic instruments can be placed into one of 4 categories. Idiophones – Instruments that make sound from the vibration of the instrument such as the triangle.

Aerophones – Instruments that make sound for the vibration of air into the instrument such as the recorder

Membranophones – Instruments that make sound from the vibration of a covering such as a drum

Chordophones – Instruments that make sound from the vibration of a string such as the violin

Using items that you find around your home create an instrument that you can play music on.

Either create your own song or play along with a song
