Our gym days are Wednesday and Thursday this year. Children should not be bringing in any PE kits at present. It is recommended that your child attends school in joggers, a t-shirt, jumper and suitable shoes on gym days. PE will continue to be done outside, weather permitting. Children should come to school equipped with suitable outdoor clothing every day as outdoor learning is an integral part of the curriculum. Please ensure all children’s clothing and belongings have their name clearly marked on them to avoid any confusion or things getting lost. Children should bring in a healthy snack Monday – Friday and a water bottle filled only with water - no other type of juice! School dinners should be booked and payed for online through Parentpay. Sighthill Primary School Literacy: We will be developing our confidence to retell stories in our own words, learning single sounds and how to blend these together as well as developing our letter and number formation. We will continue to practise how to take turns when listening and talking with others. Maths: We will continue to focus on counting and adding collections together using practical resources e.g. counters and blocks. We will be exploring 3D objects and learning to tell the time on both analogue and digital clocks. Health and Wellbeing: We will be learning to recognise that we have Reminders Our Class Charter!
