While the culmination of our children’s time at Farragut Middle School is a time for reflection and celebration, the final days of school also bring final assessments and New York State regents examinations. We have created the attached calendar as a way of helping your family navigate this very busy time. Please note that for our eighth graders, the schedule will look different when compared to the younger grades. Like in the high school, on designated testing days students are only required to report to school for the exams they need to take. There are days and times to study leading up to the examinations, and teachers are always available during our Academic Coaching period at 2:45 PM. Families who face a conflict with the World Language Checkpoint Examination should reach out to their world language teachers. All other exams are only offered in accordance to the NYS testing schedule and cannot be rescheduled. Please also mark in your calendar our Recognition Night on June 21, where students are recognized for their hard work in the middle school years. We look forward to celebrating with you and wishing you a wonderful summer! Sincerely,

Dear Eighth Grade Families,

Our students find themselves at the end of their eighth grade year.

Sincerely,
