MEMBER: Amy Kim Q: What was your favorite childhood meal? Rice with roasted seaweeds~~(if seaweed was not roasted but dry, then i needed a soy sauce with a sesame oil). Practically, I loved eating rice with anything! As a kid, my family had a frequent gathering at a barbecue (gal-bi) restaurant, i would always ask for a bowl of rice and eat it as my main meal/dish. Gal-bi was considered as one of many korean side dishes for me while eating rice. When i got older, i encountered few friends who didn't eat rice while eating Galbi and i thought that was very weird. Q: Which temptation do you try the hardest to resist and why? well, sleep is the hardest temptation that i can't resist. i love to sleep at any given time and take naps regularly whenever i get a chance. But it's not a temptation which i try to resist, so sleep is not an answer for this question. Let me see if there is another temptation that i can think of which i try to resist......oh, i know, I try hard not to be abrupt or direct when i speak. Because i say what comes into my mind without thinking over and that led me to few

Q: What was your favorite childhood meal?

Because i say what comes into my mind without thinking over and that led me to few unpleasant situations in the past. So, i try to think twice before speak. It's definitely still working in progress though.

Q: Which other culture would you choose to be born into and why? Any one of EU countries. The only reason is because of with EU passport you have free access and can travel to other EU countries so freely. i love that idea and the convenience.

Q: What are the redeeming qualities of the person you most dislike? The redeeming quality of back stabber is that they are like a mirror to my own self. A warning for me to be self reflective, lest I become a back stabber myself.

Q: If you could master one instrument, which would it be? Piano, because i regret not mastering it when i had a chance as a little girl. I think it's a foundational instrument that works as a bridge to a world of music. People who play piano know the tunes very well and have great sense of rhythm.

Q: How would you like to spend your elder years? Hopefully by then, I would have fulfilled personal duties/responsibilities, so that i could freely join short term missions or volunteer works abroad without rushing to come back.

Q: What's the best way to spend a rainy weekend? sleep in!!!

Q: Which of your personality traits would you most like to change and why? Clumsiness, because i injure myself frequently by tripping over and i am very prone to accidents (examples, lots of paper cuts and bruisings...)

Q: What do you miss about childhood? Less of responsibilities-no bills to pay every month...

Q: What would you most like to ask God? I don't have anything to ask at the present time, but if i can talk to him i would like to thank him for saving me~!!!

Q: Is it more essential to develop beliefs or gain knowledge? Why?I think it's more essential to develop beliefs than knowledge. First of all, i believe a knowledge can be obtained whether you have a belief or not. But the belief has to be given by God, i don't think it can't be earned by one's will. Secondly, human's capacity for knowledge and understanding is very minute in comparison to God's. So, without God's guidance, one's obtaining sufficient knowledge is not possible.

I had neither when i started my college year. Back then, i read bible verses and still had doubts. However, once i had developed the belief through a prayer, i was able to trust his words. Amen.
