How should I use this booklet?

You should look at the calendar at the front of the booklet and plan out which homework is due in during which week. You can then plan your time at home to make sure that you don’t miss any homework deadlines.

Which tasks should I complete?

Most subjects have 3 levels of difficulty within their homework – Pass, Merit and Distinction. The Pass is the simplest task and the Distinction is the hardest. You should aim to complete the hardest level of homework that you can in the time that you have in order to get the most out of your learning.

Which languages task should I complete?

Do not complete both the Spanish and French tasks – just complete the tasks for the language that you are studying.

Which technology tasks should I complete?

There are 5 technology tasks in this booklet – only complete the tasks for the technology that you are studying during this half term.

Who should I ask for help?

Make sure that you don’t get too stressed with homework. There are many people you can turn to for help, such as parents, class teachers, form teachers and your head of year.
