Grade 3 Math Current Vocabulary Multiply Product - number given with 2 factors are multiplied (5 x 2 = 10) Factor – numbers used to multiply (5 x 2 = 10) Divide Quotient – the result when a number is divided by another Area – the space inside At Home Practice Play card and dice games to practice facts. Ask Mrs. McMorrow if you need any materials! Go on a math website such as IXL, funbrain.com, or hoodamath.com. Check my website for more! Students use all four operations (add/sub/mult/div) to solve for missing pieces. We use multiplication to find the area of a rectangle and addition to solve the perimeter of a rectangle.
