JOB DESCRIPITON FOR FSEM NEW CONSULTANTS
INITIATIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERJob Description:
Commitment:Online/Telephone attendance of monthly committee meetings is expected.
Role: Three consultants will form a committee chaired by the faculty’s new consultant representative to develop this new initiative. It will focus on connecting new consultants with the faculty, designing a peer network and developing resources and specific CPD for new consultants.
Examples of duties 1. Provide a link between FSEM council and new consultants via online forum
2. Contribute to the FSEM newsletter3. Seek to understand the education needs of new consultants4. Help to host specific CPD events for new consultants
Are there any limitations?
Please only apply if you are a member/fellow of faculty and a new consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM) (first five years since CCT/CESR) or a final year SEM trainee. The elected candidate is expected to serve for a minimum of one year.
How will committee members chosen?
If there more than three applications, then voting papers/ electronic survey will be sent to all current SEM new consultants who will be asked to vote.
