French Dip sandwiches with Au Jus 2+ lb chuck roast ( depending on how many you want to feed)1 package onion soup mix2 cups water1 tsp salt1 tsp pepper2 cans beef broth
Hoagie rollsProvolone cheese (deli sliced)
In Large crockpot place chuck roast, onion soup mix, water, salt , pepper and beef broth. Cook on low heat for 7-8 hours or until chuck roast is tender enough to shred with tongs. Slice hoagie rolls and place in oven at 350 degree to slightly toast the bun.
Place oven on broil.Stuff toasted hoagie rolls with shredded roast, place 2 slices of provolone on top of meat and place under broiler until cheese is melted and bubbly. In small bowl ladle juices from crockpot. This is a tasty Au Jus sauce to dip your sandwich in!
