On November 8th, 2016 the world will be watching as America elects our 45th President of the United States. But as voters head to the polls, there are local and state elections to consider as well as new voting laws impacting many communities. Join us on social media to spread the word and get out the vote!

In addition to the content in this document, we encourage you to share any local media stories your League receives leading up to Election Day; this includes letters to the editor, press statements, mentions in news stories and any op/eds involving your League.

Don’t forget to take photos with your “I Voted” sticker after you vote, and use them in your posts with the hashtags listed below. Be sure to also include local hashtags specific to your state and local elections to help gain more visibility for your League’s posts!
