Biology: This week we finish our gross experiment by checking the results of our bags (disgusting!!!). You’ll create a PowerPoint and SHARE it on you Class Teams.

1. Microorganism is a composite word:

and organism = living thing.
They include Bacteria, Viruses and Fungi, to name a few.

Session 4: SHAREBEING MINDFUL AND KNOW HOW TO RELAXHere are 5 ideas on ways to be mindful, reduce anxiety and just relax IF YOU ARE FEELING STRESSED!
1. Number 8 Breathing
Point your finger into the air in front of you and breathe in as you circle around, then cross over to the right to circle your finger and breathe out. This picture will help explain it:

4. Belly Breathing Lie down on your back. Put one hand on your chest and one hand on your tummy. Inhale through your nose. Your hand on your tummy should rise and the hand on your chest should remain still. Then slowly exhale and the hand on your tummy should go downwards.
5. Candle Breathing This is a great calming exercise. Put a hand out in front of you, then pretend they are birthday candles that need to be blown out. Take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out onto your thumb, then repeat for the fingers too.
6. Mindful Listening Have a place to sit, it can be anyway that’s safe. Close your eyes and for a minute or two just focus on what you can hear. You may notice lots of things you don’t normally stop to notice. MAKE A LIST OF WHAT YOU CAN HEAR FROM WHERE YOU ARE SITTING

Each week students will be given a choice board of activities. The centre activities MUST be done with proof of it being done with the fitness circuit checklist. The rest of the activities on the sheet are student's choice. It is required you are doing these for at least 30 minutes a day. The video - “Fitness Circuit Explanation” will explain how to do itThe video “Fitness Circuit Activities” shows you all the activities and explains how to do them, you are picking 2 activities from each section.The “Fitness Circuit Checklist” on TODAYS pack is where you write down the activities you pick. The colours match to the cards. The following YouTube link will show you exactly how to do each activity. Just look for the name of the activity and it will show you exactly how to do it
