Human Development – Group PresentationMedical Professions I
Mrs. Nguyen MSN, RN CENIn your assigned groups, you will prepare an educational PowerPoint Presentation that will be used to educate your peers. This assignment will be worth 100 points and will be due on December 13 and 14 th (your block day) .
Each presentation must include the following:
The description of Stage of Growth & Development:o Age group commonly associated with you groups’ assigned stageo Developmental taskso Normal growth & development for your stageo How does this developmental stage differ from the previous stage? o How does this developmental stage prepare them for the next anticipated
stage?o What are some things to consider when providing care for your assigned age
group?
An informational handout/brochure that will be given to your classmates & Mrs. Nguyen at the end of the presentation.
1 slide with an annual financial analysis breakdown approximating current cost to raise/live during/at that stage
o Birth/death, healthcare, food, shelter, entertainment, living expenses, and education must be addressed
1-2 slides of the presentation must be dedicated to your cited sources in the presentation.
o Sources must be a minimum of three (3) and credible and reliable (NO Wikipedia or WebMD).
o You must use 6th edition APA format to cite. (https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/owlprint/560/)
Please use Microsoft PowerPoint, not Prezzi. Save on a thumb drive and bring to present.
Each presentation will be 10-13 minutes in length. Each member of the group is required to present a part of the presentation for all
members to earn full credit.
