Activity 1:

Can you make your own mask?

You will need:● Paper plate● Scissors ● Colouring pencils/paint● String/lollipop sticks

1. Use the paper plate as the face. You may wish to paint it a certain colour. Remember to leave it to dry.2. Add the main features to your face using the craft resources you have (eyes, ears, mouth, nose).3. Either stick a lolly stick to the bottom of your mask or make two holes, one on each side and thread string or elastic through so you can wear it.

Activity 2:

Ask a grown up to help you cut out some triangles, squares and rectangles.Can you make a picture of the Giant’s castle that Jasper found at the top of the beanstalk? Can you name each shape?

Can you draw and cut out 10 magic beans? Pick up some of the beans and place them in front of you? Can you estimate (have a sensible guess) how many there are? Can you then check by counting them?Repeat the above, picking up a different amount of beans.

Select an object and then read the words to find the one that matches the object you have chosen. If you find the correct word, put a teacher tick next to it.Repeat for all the objects.

● Empty jar● 1 broad bean seed● Kitchen towel● Scissors ● Water ●

What you do:

1. Wirl a small amount of water around the jar.
