Convention Prayer requests for Sept. 14: Please also pray for Crandall University as well as Acadia Divinity College as they have recently received students for the new academic year. Pray for encouragement, discipline in studies, spiritual growth, and for new friendships for their students.

Sept. 15 7:30 pm Hall meeting at the hall.
Sept. 16 1:30 pm Museum meeting at the Museum.
Sept. 17 7 pm Choir practice at the Church.
Oct.5 7 pm Live in concert - Brent Reid of Cornerstone Ministries. Come and hear Brent as he brings us ministry through music.
The men of our Church are encouraged to attend a men's retreat at Camp Mush-a-mush, Friday and Saturday Sept. 19-20. (Pastor Sam will be attending only on Saturday and you are welcome to do the same). The cost is $45. It is organized by Faith Baptist Chapel of Lunenburg and attended by men from Churches around the province. The main speaker will be Pastor Stephen Matthews from Burtts Corner, NB. You can arrive anytime after 3 pm on Friday with supper at 6:30 and departure will be around 5 pm Saturday (after an early supper). See Pastor Sam for more details, to register, or to hitch a ride.

On the week end the 19th of September we are having Joanne Goodwin, on the Friday evening and Saturday (whole day) do a series of talks to the ladies of Bridgewater and surrounding areas on the subject of mental illness (for more information on Joanne please go to this link http://www.joannegoodwin.ca/home.html).We herby extend an invitation to all your ladies that would like to attend this unique event - see poster on bulletin board for more information.
