Together: Unity of Gods People
18Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall
be bound in
heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed
in heaven. 19Again
I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as
touching any thing thatthey shall ask, it shall be done for them of
my Father which is in heaven. 20For
where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I
in the midst ofthem. Matt. 18:18-20
Romans. 12:4, 5many members, one body.
We belong to the most powerful kingdom in the universe. Our King
created
everything and has power over all things in the heavens, in the
earth, in the watersand beneath the earth. All is subject to
Him.
Because Gods headquartersis in heaven, He has commissioned us,
who are part of
His family to be ambassadors on the earth. We are sent forth to
spread the gospelto all men; but we have an enemy.
Men and women whom we want to take the message are in prison;
bound by
the devil. He has their minds blinded by sin. We have to get to
them. But we
have to do it together. Weve also have our own daily struggles,
and
sometimes its going to take someone else besides us to overcome
them. Unity

is a strength to the body of Christ. Without it, we suffer and
the ministry
suffers.
Unity
1Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell
together in unity!Psalm 133:1
Unity is one of the kingdom principles, along with Love. If you
notice, in order
for both words to be implemented, there has to be at least two
people
involved.
Lets look at examples of unity in the Bible:
In the book ofActs, chapter 12, verse 5: Peter is shut up in
prison andthe church is making intercession for himtogether.
Daniel 3Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego stood together. Esther
4She calls a fast and all the Jews in Shushan and her and her
maidens fasted and God delivered
For there to be a marriage, there has to be at least two people
involved. For there to be a family, which is a unit, there has to
be at least two
people
In the raising of children, the best scenario is to have a
father and amother
Do you know that our enemy knows this? Unsaved folk get together
and do
things all the time; and they are quite successful.
Genesis 11:4The tower of BabelDaniel prayer for 21 days. He
didnt know it but he was dealing with the
prince of persia, a major spirit that was preventing the answer
to his prayer.
I wonder what wouldve happened if he had someone else praying
and fasting
with him?
Unity is so important that Christ prayed for us concerning this
