F.Sc PRE-ENGINEERING Our F.Sc Pre- Engineering program is one of the most credible programs for students to achieve bright careers in multiple fields of engineering. Our program serves as a gateway to prepare our students for the rigours of the top engineering universities of the country.

I.C.SOur I.C.S program is designed to enhance the skills of our students in computer science and information technology. With our advanced technological teaching methods and state-of-the-art tools, our students learn and excel in becoming tech professionals in leading IT companies worldwide.

I.COMOur I.Com program helps build your skills in the fields of commerce and accounting leading promising careers in accountancy and other related fields.

F.AOur F.A program is designed for students who are interested in developing careers in the fields of arts, humanities, journalism, media and other related fields. We provide state of the art labs and studios on campus to enhance the knowledge of students and help them experience what their future could look like.

INTERMEDIATEOur two year Associate Degree annual program helps students make an early start to their professional career in their respective field. After completing this program, students can either start working or join the 5th semester/3rd year of a 4 year BS program in any specific discipline. These programs are available in

relevant campuses with affiliation to different public universities.

MICROSOFT CERTIFICATIONPunjab Group of Colleges in collaboration with Microsoft is offering free Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification to its students. The Microsoft Office Specialist Certification is a cost-effective, market-oriented solution to validate fundamental productivity, knowledge, and skills in demand today. We offer free certification in three categories which are MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. Through this facility, students can save up to $160. Any student can avail this facility without having to pay extra fee.

ENTRY-TEST PREPARATION Students are required to take entrance examinations after intermediate to get selected into the top universities in the country and abroad. Our curriculum is designed to guide our students to excel in any entry test examination. This enables them to prepare for a radiant future, and allows them to pursue their professional goals.

E-LEARNING & VIRTUAL PROGRAMSThe e-learning system of education is now an intrinsic part of the teaching and learning process. To ensure the availability of access to education, Punjab Colleges offer a state-of-the-art e-learning portal. This online system includes interactive video lectures and other electronic resources beneficial for the students. To guide our students in a better way, we are also offering virtual classrooms that connect students to their teachers in real-time so that they can communicate in a classroom environment.

ONLINE PORTAL & STUDENT APPThe Punjab College app is designed to provide the right information and relevant course-based material for swift learning and necessary

LAB FACILITIESPunjab Colleges have state-of-the-art labs that are upto date with modern requirements. These activities are designed in such a way that students can enjoy and participate in each type of fun filled recreation separately.

LITERARY CIRCLEThis society aims to promote healthy reading and writing habits among students. The circle convenes regular events and each session comprises of a selection of a particular book in prose or poetry followed by discussion on the author, chosen excerpts and important chapters. After the session, all members are required to contribute a small review and critique. The sessions are conducted in both Urdu and English literatures. The circle also intends to involve speakers and renowned writers on its guest-list.

HEALTH AWARENESS CLUBHealth awareness club is established to arrange the activities related to general health awareness among students. Seminars are conducted in coordination with experienced local doctors to increase awareness about important health related issues like self-medication and mental health.

SPORTS CLUBExtracurricular activities are incomplete without sports and here at Punjab College we keep this on the top of all activities. Some highlights of the sports agenda include league tournaments of badminton, basketball, cricket, hockey, football and table tennis. Apart from on-campus activities, students also take an active part in inter-college tournaments.

IT CLUBIT Club is dedicated to providing students with a club focused on IT-oriented activities. The aim is to give our students a chance to develop IT-based projects and get a hands-on experience to gain more knowledge about IT. Club members will participate in field trips to software houses, IT related campus projects and other IT-related activities.

BLOOD DONOR SOCIETYThe aim of the Blood Donor Society is to gather a team of highly motivated students who can enthusiastically put in an effort to gather blood from volunteer donors amongst the students, faculty and staff of the college. It is the responsibility of the society to ensure the availability of blood at a time of emergency or for regular cases.

DEBATING SOCIETYThe Debating Society plays a prominent role in facilitating students with the possibilities to explore their capability in the field of debating/declamations. The society conducts bilingual monthly and annual debating events. The best teams are presented with trophies on the basis of their performance. The society also selects the teams of debaters for participation in the inter-college debating/declamation contests.

DRAMATICS CLUBAt Punjab Colleges, dramas, short plays and skits play an integral part at welcome parties, concerts and other occasions. To improve the quality of such activities, students require a proper arrangement in this regard so that they can exhibit and enhance their dramatic skills. Through the dramatics club, students gain confidence, improve their public speaking skills and learn to express themselves. This club aims to contribute to personality and character-building through the performing arts.

GO GREEN CLUBThe Go Green Club is about focusing towards energy conservation, recycling of natural resources and planting maximum number of trees so that the coming generations would benefit from decisions made today. We need to act as proven examples of self-sustenance in energy conservation and taking footsteps that would enable us to become the 'Pioneer

institution' within Pakistan in addressing such an important global issue.

MUSIC SOCIETYThe Music Society has been established to polish the innate abilities of students in singing and music. Pakistan’s most popular superstars like Atif Aslam, Abrar-ul-Haq, Goher Mumtaz and Mustafa Zahid started their journeys of success through this society. The society organizes regular workshops to talk about various genres of music such as Classical, Pop, Fusion, Sufi-rock, Pop-rock, Rap, Jazz, Trance etc. The Society also organizes frequent gig-nights, singing competitions and concerts.


SCIENCE CLUBScience Club is dedicated to providing students with a club focused on science-oriented activities. The goal is for students to learn, develop professionally, and enjoy social interaction with fellow students in an environment conducive to extra curricular activities. Club members participate in field trips, campus projects and other science-related activities.

ART CLUBThe Art Club is mainly responsible to streamline the production, promotion, and showcasing of art work by the students. That is why the Art Club members remain busy throughout the academic session in various demanding activities. Students associated with this club make themselves available

outside working hours, as they play the main role to develop art projects which they can showcase in regular and annual events. They can also participate in art, painting and poster-making competitions.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS CLUBYoung Entrepreneurs Club focuses on educating students about the importance and benefits of entrepreneurship and offers startups with incubator services. It organizes events to help students and alumni connect to the networks’ supporting startups.

TOURISM CLUBThe aim of this club is to promote the country’s cultural and natural heritage through tourism in a sustainable way by making our students conversant with regional trends and diversity. The club will also arrange different tourism activities.

WELFARE SOCIETYThe Welfare society at Punjab College is a non-profit society run by students. This society works for the welfare of humanity without any discrimination of cast, creed, color, sect and religion. It serves deserving students, indigent patients and college staff. The society will regularly organize events and seminars to increase awareness about social welfare activities. These events will also be used as a major source for fundraising to help deserving people in case of any natural disasters or any other event.

ISLAMIC SOCIETYThe Islamic Society is responsible to promote activities that can build a positive image of Islam and to also discuss the most common misconceptions about Islam. Seminars will be conducted in coordination with popular Islamic

scholars to educate students with knowledge of Quran. It provides spiritual support to students through the activities designed in a more organized form. The society will also regularly conduct Qira'at competitions between the students.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUBThe ultimate purpose of the Photography Club is to provide a supportive environment for interested photography students to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography while studying. The club will organize regular workshops in collaboration with popular photographers. Members of the club will also explore the possible opportunities for photography projects and explore the possibilities of exhibitions on and off campus. The society will also regularly conduct photography competitions between the students.

NAATNaat is a poetic way of praising our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and we encourage our students to show their love for our Prophet (PBUH) by conducting a Naat competition every year. We also offer cash prizes for the winners.

AZAANThe motive of this competition is to encourage the youth towards the best Azan, which is a profound spiritual experience, and to spread Islam’s image as a religion of peace and harmony. Every year we arrange an Azaan competition and also offer cash prizes for the winners.

CALLIGRAPHYTo inspire the students to improve their handwriting skills we regularly arrange calligraphy competitions at Punjab Colleges. These competitions include different languages such as Urdu and Arabic.


PAINTINGAt Punjab Group of Colleges we firmly believe that art helps students to express themselves. Our students can put amazing color on those canvases to tell their stories. These paintings are always inspiring for others and we give our students this chance regularly by conducting painting competitions.

SKETCHINGThere are students who can draw anything with the help of just a pencil and a paper, those are the real artists. GRAFFITIGraffiti is an art form that converts street walls into canvases. Artists usually create paintings or scribble on walls using spray paint. ROAD SAFETYTo promote safe driving behavior and to invoke a sense of responsibility among the students, Punjab Group of Colleges initiated a campaign called “Helmet Saves Life”. In this campaign, Punjab Group of Colleges distributed free helmets throughout the campuses and guided students and employees on the importance of a safe driving behavior and ensured the safety of students and employees.

ANTI-DRUGS DRIVETo eradicate the menace of drugs from Pakistan, there is dire need to create an awareness about the harmful effects of drugs. In this regard PGC launched a corporate social responsibility campaign “Drug Free Pakistan” and shed light on the repercussions of drug abuse. Through this program several awareness sessions were conducted to guide students on how they can refrain themselves from using drugs.

CLEAN DRINKING WATERPunjab Group of Colleges is not merely striving to provide quality education but also deeply concerned about the health of its students and masses. PGC took a great initiative “Drink Clean with PGC” for the provision of clean drinking water and implanted state of the art water filtration plants throughout the campuses in Pakistan. These water filtration plants are also accessible to the general public.

RIDE WITH PRIDEIn 2019, Punjab Group of Colleges conducted a research on the commute issues faced by the 51 percent population of country i.e. females. Under the light of the research, an initiative with the name “Ride with Pride” was announced. The core purpose of this initiative was the provision of convenient and independent commute options for the female students of University of Central Punjab. In this program, the university provided two wheelers (pink scooties) to the female students and gave them hands-on training by the Punjab traffic police department to ensure the safety of the students.

KASUR MUWAKHAT PROGRAMAt Punjab Group of Colleges, giving back to the community has always been our core philosophy. To fulfill this purpose, Dunya Foundation started a project in 2014 by the name of Kasur Muwakhat Program (KMP) with the aim to reduce poverty and increase capacity building of the people by providing free quality education, introducing new farming techniques, interest free loans for farmers, free medical services and self-development trainings. KMP is currently operating in Dhala Kalan, Kasur, which consists of seven villages and a total estimated population of 2,861 households.

HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURESPunjab Colleges is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible learning experience for its students. We believe that no task or activity is so important that it can’t be done in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable safety standards. In all campuses, health and safety plans are intact to prevent any unfortunate event such as a fire or a medical emergency. Campus staff is always ready to execute evacuation plans in case of any such event. As we live through Covid-19, we have implemented a robust set of WHO and Punjab Ministry of Health compliant measures to keep our students and staff safe from the contagion.

SOLAR ENERGYTo build a greener tomorrow for generations to come, Punjab Group of Colleges opted for the

most sustainable form of energy by installing solar power plants at all major campuses. Through this mega green project, the Group took an initiative to reduce carbon footprint and switched to clean and reliable energy systems while reducing the costs of energy generation cost at the same time.

MAKE PAKISTAN GREEN To nip the menace of pollution and SMOGS in the bud, Punjab Group of Colleges has started a great initiative “Make Pakistan Green” of planting 2.5 million trees. In this campaign 5 lac students will be the agents of change to mitigate the decreasing quality of air and to evoke a sense of conserving nature. Under the campaign of “Make Pakistan Green” as an innovative and interactive tool, Punjab Group of College is sensitizing the masses regarding the importance of planting trees.

At Punjab Colleges, our set of rules and regulations help inculcate the right disciple all college students need in their lives to focus, work hard, set the right goals, and turn those goals into accomplishments. At Punjab Colleges, our discipline is our identity and it is a set of policies that remind our students about the proper code of behaviour.


16. The College will not be responsible for loss of any mail/valuables sent to a student at the College address.

17. The College is not responsible for any loss /damage regarding the students’ belongings.

18. The College students, while parking the bikes/motor cars, are required to park them at places identified by the College Administration for this purpose and put proper lock/wire lock on them. The College administration shall not be responsible for any loss on this account, whatsoever.

19. The students who want to migrate from Punjab College to any other college can apply within ten days of taking their Board /University Examinations. After ten days, they will have to pay full fee for Clearance.

20. Any false information produced by a student/parent/guardian on any formal document of the College, including the admission Application Form, may render the student liable to expulsion from the College.

21. The College grants fee-concessions and scholarships of different nature at the time of admission. These concessions and scholarships are applicable only to the current instalment and must be renewed when the next fee instalment is due. Mere recommendation for a fee-concession and scholarship does not entitle a student to its grant. Certain conditions and requirements must be fulfilled for eligibility.

22. Students can get benefits like Concessions, Scholarships in case of fulfilling the attendance /CGPA requirements and observing the fee-schedule. However the application for fee concession must be submitted within the time frame given by the College. Applications received after the lapse of that time period will not be entertained.

90% attendance for scholarships and for other concessions is mandatory.

23. Any fee concession/prize/scholarship is granted only at the discretion of the College Administration and can be withdrawn at anytime.

24. The College reserves the right to make, amend and introduce any rule as and when deemed appropriate.

25. If a student defaults in submission of College dues for a period of one month, his/ her name will be struck off from the College Roll.

26. The College, in its sole discretion, shall have the right to take any disciplinary, administrative and legal action against a defaulting student committing breach of any of the College Rules, Regulations, Policies or Guidelines. Such an action may include, but shall not be limited to, expulsion, suspension, withholding of Examination Admission Forms of the Board/University, release of the Examination Roll No. Slips or withholding the examination result card issued by the Board/University particularly due to any of the following:

a. Poor Attendance b. Non-payment of College Dues c. Poor overall Academic Record d. Failure in the College Examinations e. Misconduct f. Any other reason not specifically

mentioned herein

1. No student is allowed to paste, exhibit, prepare or distribute any poster, leaflet, notice, pamphlet or handbill in the College premises without prior permission from the Principal.

2. Any student aggrieved by any act of the

College Administration or of any student shall first lodge a complaint with the Principal or such College Committee, which may be constituted for the redressal of the student grievances, and only after a final order from the Principal or the said College Committee, as the case maybe, may approach any outside authority, including a court of law, for the resolution of the issue. It is further clarified that in all matters related to the affairs of the institution, students, faculty or such other matters as maybe notified by the College Administration from time to time, the College Principal or the said College Committee shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to decide upon all such matters.

3. Use of mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited in the College premises and during the College Functions. Mobiles and cameras confiscated shall only be returned if the Disciplinary Committee permits.

4. Smoking in the College premises is strictly prohibited.

5. Every student of the College is required to be punctual in the classes. Any student remaining absent from classes without proper permission shall be suspended/ struck off from the College Roll unless the cause of absence is explained to the satisfaction of the Principal as per College Rules.

6. The College authorities can revise dues without any prior notice. This revision wiII be applicable to all students enrolled at that time or in future.

7. No student is allowed to leave the class without the permission of his/her teacher or until the class is over.

8. Late-comers in the class may be marked absent.

9. Any student misbehaving in the classroom /College shall at once be reported to the Principal by the teacher. The Principal will take such action as he/she may deem proper. The teacher can recommend a penalty as well.

10. Any political or immoral activity is strictly prohibited in or around the College premises.

11. A fine will be imposed for absence without proper permission as per College Rules.

12. Private telephone calls of the students will not be entertained. However, an emergency message can be conveyed.

13. Students must keep with them the College identity Card during their stay in the College premises and during College functions.

14. Students are required to wear the prescribed uniform while attending the College.

15. The College authorities reserve the right to revise any class schedule or to re-arrange the classes.


RULES ANDREGULATIONS

34. Release and waiver: PGC regularly arranges functions, tours etc. for the students and takes reasonable care in providing a safe environment while doing so. These functions may be arranged in the College or held at other venues. Third parties are involved in the management of these functions and tours. It is therefore mandatory for all the students desiring to participate in the functions or tours to submit their father’s /guardian’s written consent in the prescribed manner to the PGC administration. By submitting the admission form to PGC the parents/guardians/students shall deem to have generally agreed to absolve and release the PGC owners, administrators, managers, employees from all liabilities relating to any mishap/accident which might happen during the student’s stay at the College or during any tour or function. The PGC administration may, from time to time, prescribe conditions pertaining to the participation of the students in the functions and tours.

35. Simultaneous admission/registration in two or more colleges is not allowed. The College shall not be liable for any loss to the students in this regard.

27. Notwithstanding anything contained in any College Rule, Regulation, Policy or Guideline, if a student’s Examination Admission Form, Roll No. Slip or Result Card is withheld by the College Administration, the name of the affected student shall deem to be provisionally struck off from the Roll of the College with immediate effect, whether he/she has been given notice of this action or not. In such an eventuality it will be the student’s duty to apply to the concerned College Authorities for re-admission to the College. The College may in its sole discretion approve or disapprove such re-admission and may also impose such conditions and fines as it may deem necessary.

28. The Students are responsible and duty bound to remain updated and compliant to the College policies, rules, regulations, directives etc. and it is their sole responsibility to ensure the timely submission of their College dues/fees/fines. The College or its Administration shall not be liable for any loss accruing to the students due to any such failure, non-compliance or non-observance. As regards the financial liability of a Student, the Parent/Guardian of the Student, signing the College Admission Form of the Student in such capacity, shall act as the surety of the Student and shall be jointly and severally liable to discharge any outstanding financial liability of the Student accruing under the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines. All College dues/fees/fines once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable unless allowed in the College Rules/ Regulations.

29. If the College Administration pays any amount to any Authority, Board, Government Department etc. on behalf of any Student (s), all such amounts shall remain recoverable from such Student(s) as outstanding College Dues.

30. Shifts and Sections once allotted to the students shall not be changed in any case.

31. The provisions contained in the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines, including but not limited to the General & Disciplinary Rules and Admission Rules, and the Declaration of the Student in the College Admission Form shall collectively form a contract between the College Administration and the Student and shall remain binding till a Student is on Rolls of the College. The College Administration shall have the exclusive jurisdiction and right to amend, repeal and replace all or any of the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines. Such amended or replaced provisions shall also remain binding till the student remains on the Rolls of the College. The College shall be entitled to initiate legal proceedings, in addition to other disciplinary or administrative actions, against a Student who fails to comply with these binding provisions.

32. NOCs and College leaving certificates can only be issued if the student has paid all outstanding College dues/fees/fines till the submission date of his/her application for the issuance of the said certificates.

33. Students may apply for the cancellation of their admission (subject to the permission

of Principal) within 15 days after getting admission, however, no fee refund shall

be made.
