We'll be 鴄ifteen years old in 2017! For those of youwho have been with us from the beginning, youknow the milestones we've reached and theopportunities that exist for us as a World TradeCenter of Greater Philadelphia.
This year we are particularly proud of the success our companies inPennsylvania and New Jersey have achieved. With the guiding hand of ourtrade counselors, these exporters, many of them small and medium‐sizedbusinesses, now have customers around the world ‐ registering over$174M in increased export sales.
Their success is our success and it's at the heart of what we do as amember‐based, 501(c)3 non‐pro鴄it organization.
This year we partnered with the Economy League of Greater Philadelphiaand area business and civic leaders, as part of a national Brookings/JPMorgan Chase "Global Cities Initiative" to launch a dynamic exportstrategy to drive economic growth and job creation for the GreaterPhiladelphia Region. The resulting "Export Plan" for Philadelphiaunderscored that there are many more businesses in the GreaterPhiladelphia region who can and should be exporting ‐ and need theservices of the WTCGP.
As part of our commitment to the international business community toprovide timely and relevant information on the global economy andcelebrate our global leaders, this year's key signature events andinternational meetings included:
