To allow students to analyse their learning in order to make improvements and take ownership of their learning.
Lesson Plans Tutor meeting 1 (Wednesday) Follow the same format each week.
Tutor meeting 2 (Monday) Follow course appropriate to year
group Assemblies (every 3rd week).
Wednesday – Target Setting Learning Intention : To make and evaluate
targets in order to promote successful learning. Tasks: School Prayer ( page 3 Planner)

To help students have a more organised approach to their learning.
All homework should be noted on the relevant due dates to allow students meet deadlines.
Planners will be checked regularly by staff. I would encourage you to do the same to ensure they are being used effectively.

Achievements and Target Setting
During the school year you should record your achievements made in school. You can use your school tracking/progress report to do this. By recording and reviewing your achievements you should be able to set personal improvement targets.

This page should be used in your subjects to record examples of your best or latest achievements. It can also be used to record awards or certificates you have received. You should discuss this with your subject teacher and with all of the feedback you receive in the routine of learning which might include, comments in jotters, homework diary, formative comments on folio pieces and end of unit assessments. Write about WHAT you achieved, HOW you achieved it and the SKILLS you developed.
