Whites NeutralsSubtle shades of white form the basis of most of our colour schemes. From soft bone colours to warm creams, whites lighten up our living spaces and give our rooms a crisp, airy feel. There are two different types of white colours: warm whites and cool whites. If your room is a north facing, warm space with an abundance of natural light, then you can use a cool white. If your room is already a cool space, and does not receive much sunlight, then it is better to use a warm white to make the space more inviting.

A piece of driftwood, a river pebble or a sea shell. We take our inspiration from the natural colours surrounding us to use in our homes. Deep dark stone colours pick out our architectural features whilst the soft colours of tree bark or an oyster shell give a room a light, elegant feel. Neutrals can be used as a timeless colour scheme in your home. Simply add some pattern and texture to your colour scheme or a seasonal accent colour through fabric and accessories to create the perfect look.
