Please read the following before installing your phone:This case has been tested to meet stated claims, however it is not indestructible and should be used with that consideration. Case or installed phone could be damaged by drops from less than tested height – particularly on non-smooth surfaces. We do not warranty that this case will protect your phone in all circumstances. User exposes their phone to hazards at their own risk. User must follow all installation, maintenance and operating instructions carefully for water, dust and shock protection. Please review Gear Beast Warranty. Under no circumstances will Gear Beast repair or replace non Gear Beast products or devices. This case is not a suitable replacement for regular back-ups or device insurance. DO NOT USE A DAMAGED CASE FOR PROTECTION.

WARNING – Before using this product you must 1) remove any screen protector, stickers, metal plates, or any other attachment that alters the original dimensions of the phone; 2) Conduct WATER TEST (refer to instructions) to assure waterproof case is functioning correctly. Failure to follow the above steps could result in damage to your phone.

Instructions:Start by completing these next 4 steps. Once complete proceed to the next steps depending on whether you are performing the Water Test or Phone Installation.

Clean the case screen and shell thoroughly with the clean cloth provided.

Open the charge port door and unscrew the headphone jack cover.

Use coin to pop open the case at the bottom right corner (with screen facing you) and then separate front and back covers. Check for damage to front and rear cover.

Check the O-ring seal to make sure it is seated correctly, is clean and free of damage.

Continue here for Water TestInsert 5X2 inch piece of tissue in case and snap together front and back cover.

Close charge port door and screw in headphone jack cover.

Fully submerge case in water for 30 minutes using cup or other object to weight down.

After 30 minutes, remove case from water and check inside of case and tissue to confirm that they are dry. If case passes Water Test, you may proceed to Phone Installation. If case fails, please contact us at warranty@gearbeast.com.

Insert phone into waterproof case and snap together front and back cover.

Close charge port door and screw in headphone jack cover.

Headphone adapterTo maintain the watertight seal when using headphones, install the included headphone adaptor.

Unscrew headphone jack cover.

Insert adaptor and screw in until snug.

Plug in your headphones.

REGULAR CARE AND MAINTENANCE

KEEP SEALS CLEANAlways ensure all seals, O-ring, charge port door and headphone jack cover are in place and free of dust, dirt, hair, sand and debris.

PERFORM REGULAR WATER TESTSWithout phone installed, conduct Water Test at regular intervals and after any significant impacts to case.

RINSE CASE WITH FRESH WATER AFTER USEAfter exposure to salt water, chlorine, soap, detergent or other chemicals please rinse with fresh water.

CHECK AFTER SIGNIFICANT IMPACTSAfter any drops or significant impacts, inspect entire case for any damage and ensure all seams, seals and covers are closed. Perform Water Test before next use.
