    The ater Leaders of Tomorrow Seminaris a new initiative of the Internationalaterorum supported by the International

    aterCentre, Australian ater Associationand Engineers ithout Borders.

    The purpose of this seminar is to inspire and empower youngwater industry professionals and encourage their continuedinvolvement in the water sector. The orum is aimed at

    showcasing young water industry professionals undertakinginnovative and leadership roles in the Australian waterindustry through case study presentations.

    highlighting the key factors and processes that enable youngwater professionals to work in this way (orkshops)

    seeking support from present-day water industry leadersfor people entering the water industry to be inspired andempowered to take on new challenges

    orkshop outputs, as a report will be sent to senior Australianwater industry leaders including the President of AA,CE National ater Commission; Queensland epartmentof Environment and esource anagement senior staffrepresentative; and Local Government senior representatives.

    As there is currently a shortage of professionals in the waterindustry, we anticipate that the ater Leaders of TomorrowSeminar will inspire young professionals to commit to the waterindustry and gain a better knowledge of the depth and breadthof opportunities available to them.
