Do not place these items in your lime-green lid FOGO bin:
No aerosol cans or gas bottles
No batteries or electronic waste
No clothes or textiles
No glass
No metal
No nappies
No plastic bags
No coffee pods
Place these items in your lime-green lid FOGO bin:
Certified compostable caddy liners
Food scraps, including meat, seafood, bones and shells
Bread and dairy
Tea bags and coffee grounds
Food-soiled paper towel and cardboard, like pizza boxes
Shredded paper and tissues
Prunings (up to 30cm), lawn clippings, leaves and weeds
Pet poo, kitty litter and animal bedding (hay/newspaper)
Please don’t bag your recyclables. Place all items loose into the bin. Please remove lids, and rinse all jars, cans, bottles and containers.
Place these items in your yellow lid recycling bin:
Glass bottles and jars - rinsed and lids removed
Paper - not shredded (including newspaper and
magazines)
Cardboard - flattened
Plastic bottles and containers - clean, empty and no lids
Steel and aluminium cans - clean and empty
Do not place these items in your yellow lid recycling bin:
No aerosol cans or gas bottles
No batteries or electronic
No clothes or textiles
No materials in plastic bags
No nappies, hygiene or sanitary products
No soft plastics (e.g. plastic bags and wrappers)

General waste - Fortnightly
Bulk wasteRequest up to three bulk bins or tip passes each year (1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022). Requests received after 5pm on 31 March 2022 will be part of the following year’s allocation. Book a bin online at bayswater.wa.gov.au/bulkbin or call 9272 0605.
Not enough space on your verge? Contact the City to make alternative arrangements.
Blue bulk bin
General waste Bulky household items, dismantled furniture, timber and toys.
Do not place these items in your blue bulk bin:
No building material
No asbestos
No mattresses or white goods
No hazardous items like chemicals, batteries or paint
No liquids
No car parts including tyres
No electronic waste
Green bulk bin
Green waste Grass clippings, leaves and
branches (up to 1.5m long and 15cm wide).
Do not place these items in your green bulk bin:
No household items like furniture, mattresses or white goods
No sand or lawn sods
No treated timber or sleepers
No plastic or recyclables
No building material or asbestos
No liquids
No pet waste
Only fill to the top of your binCarefully read the list of allowable contents as charges may apply for disposal of items not permitted.
Do not shift the bin from the place where it is delivered and keep the area around it clear.
Tip passesIf you would rather use the tip, you can request tip passes instead of bulk bins. Visit the City of Bayswater Civic Centre or a City library to collect your passes. For more information visit bayswater.wa.gov.au/bulkbin

Household hazardous wasteHousehold Hazardous Waste (HHW) can contain chemicals or substances harmful to people and the environment. Examples include:
Batteries and light globesHousehold batteries and fluorescent light globes contain non-renewable and potentially harmful materials and are not safe to place in your kerbside rubbish bins. Recycle them at one of the City’s recycling stations:

• Galleria Shopping Centre (near the travelator at the Coles entrance)
