provide our members

that it is not always convenient
to stop by the Credit Union. Now, thanks to our Mobile Check
Deposit, your nearest branch is
never further away than your smartphone or tablet. Just snap a
picture of the front and back of
your endorsed check with the new WAFCU Mobile Banking App! It’s
fast, easy and secure.
You even get rapid confirmation that your images have
successfully uploaded and your check
is being processed.
How should Mobile Deposits be endorsed? You agree to properly
endorse the check on the
back as it appears on the Payable to line and the words: FOR
MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY are
required. For a check payable to you AND any joint owner, both
must endorse. If a check is
payable to you OR joint owner, either can endorse it. Please
make sure that you have the
most updated version of our WAFCU App!

Bill Payment System
WAFCU’s bill pay system was recently updated. If you use this
option on your mobile app,
please go into your app store and update our WAFCU Mobile App.
The bill pay feature will
not show up until the app has been updated. If you use the bill
pay feature in home banking,
you will have to agree to the new terms and answer some security
questions. If you have any

sincerity as far as the eye can see."

I’ve said many times that fall is my favorite season. I love all
aspects of autumn, from the
weather, to the sports, to the forthcoming holiday season that
it portends. I think it’s normal as
fall blends into winter that many of us wax nostalgic and
resurrect memories of our childhood.
One aspect of my childhood that I can still enjoy are the
holiday TV offerings, and among the
classics are the Charlie Brown specials. With Halloween soon
upon us, I chose my opening
quote from the eminent Peanuts philosopher, Linus van Pelt.
Likening your credit union to a Peanuts cartoon may seem to
stretch reality, but under closer
scrutiny, not so much. Financial headlines recently describe the
hypocrisy and insincerity of
(at least one) major bank with their culture of sales quotas to
be met at all costs. Not so at the
credit union. The staff will recommend products and services,
but only those that sincerely
benefit you, our owner/customer. Nothing hypocritical here as
the staff regards each member
individually and strives to accommodate individual circumstances
in lieu of a corporate model
or ratio.
What other analogy can we draw from our philosopher Linus? How
about his omnipresent
security blanket. Credit Union history is founded upon the
defense and protection of “the little
guy” with early ads depicting the credit union as an umbrella
shielding him from financial
storms. Think of your Credit Union in the same manner. Having a
financial relationship with
WAFCU can provide financial security in the form of free
checking, identity protection, on-line
and mobile banking, investment counseling, or in a variety of
low cost loan products and
services that provide both security and flexibility.
As you enjoy this fall season, do your friends and associates a
favor, and refer them to your
