AEROSPACE: READINESS, WHEN IT MATTERS MOST
The aerospace industry is rapidly growing with cutting-
edge technology. ADS’s Aerospace team has the industry knowledge and expertise to
source everything from advanced avionics to legacy replacement parts.
MISSION GIVE BACK: USO & ADS
We realize service members, first responders and their
families don’t serve alone. That’s why ADS partners with organizations like the USO,
whose missions align with ours, in order to magnify our impact.
COUNTER WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION: CWMD
Whether you’re a breacher making entry into a hardened
target, an EOD technician conducting a render safe procedure (RSP) or a HAZMAT
technician responding to an incident, ADS’s CWMD team supports readiness against
chemical, biological, nuclear and health security threats.
SIMULATION TRAINING: REALISTIC TRAINING
PROVIDES REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE
When not engaged in combat, training dominates military activity. Mission success
relies heavily on the effectiveness of training systems that provide Warfighters real-
time scenarios.
RATIS: NEXT-GENERATION SPECIAL OPS LIFE PRESERVER
Special Operations Forces have long sought a programmable automatic inflator
that allows the user to select the inflation profile of their life preserver units
(LPUs) based on the mission. With support from ADS, Mustang Survival developed a
groundbreaking life preserver so lightweight, low profile and non-restrictive that
military operators barely know they’re wearing it.

READINESSIN THE AGE OF INNOVATION INCREASE LETHALITY /// MAXIMIZE SURVIVABILITY /// OPTIMIZE PERFORMANCE
UAS COUNTERMEASURES:
DETECT. IDENTIFY. MITIGATE.
The proliferation of drones in the hands
of private operators, organizations
and unfriendly nations has spurred the
development of anti-drone systems that are
versatile, scalable and immediately available.
Because there isn’t a single drone
technology, countering both commercial and
military drones requires a layered approach.
When combating obtrusive UASs,
users need access to a full spectrum
of counter systems that:
• Snatch drones out of the air
• Electronically attack drones, making them
fall from the sky
• Take control of the drone to land or
reroute the threat
• Trap drones inside invisible fences or nets
• Break communication between drone and
controller via directional jammer
• Traditional defense mechanisms, such as
shooting drones down

///// ADS suppliers offer purpose-built solutions used by military, law enforcement, prison
and physical security personnel to protect military installations, control posts, critical
infrastructure, prison facilities and public gathering venues.
Liteye’s SkyWall Patrol is a handheld
system that captures a drone in
an entangling net. Compressed air
launches a projectile up to the drone
after the operator has targeted it
using the onboard SmartScope. This
physical drone capture creates a
predictable outcome, minimizing
collateral damage.
SkyWall Patrol can be used as a
standalone drone defense system
but can also be integrated with a
wider security system, using the
SkyLink module, to offer a highly
capable counter-drone package.
A single SkyWall Patrol system can
protect a set area. Multiple systems
can be deployed from mobile units
to protect a large site.
WhiteFox’s DroneFox creates an invisible dome of defense with the use of
proprietary algorithms, creating automated airspace security for both fixed
structures and security on the move.
• Analyzes multiple bands within the RF spectrum
• Informs the user with drone forensic ID, flight time of drone, etc. to determine threat level
• Allows the user to mitigate the drone—in one click land, reroute or return the identified threat by taking operation of the drone and locking the original pilot out without intruding or interfering with other signals in the airspace

Dedrone’s DroneDefender is a non-
kinetic UAS countermeasure, which
safeguards airspace without risking
collateral damage. DroneDefender
quickly disrupts the adversary’s
control of the UAS, neutralizing it
so that no remote action, including
detonation, can occur, minimizing
UAS damage and risk to public safety.
DroneDefender handheld units
are portable, intuitive and man-
in-the-loop. The system employs
two different defenses to disrupt
unwanted UAS—remote control
disruption and GPS disruption.

TILTING FIELD SANITATION UNIT (T-FSU)
The Tilting Field Sanitation Unit (TFSU1624) combines the proven performance
of all Babington sanitation systems with the added convenience of single person
transportability and a small storage footprint. The TFSU consists of a three-sink
system heated by a single Airtronic burner. Sinks are 16-inches wide by 24-inches
long and 12-inches deep and hold a maximum of 19 gallons of water.
The system is designed so the operator fills the sinks with water and pulls the ON/
OFF switch for them to achieve and maintain the mandated operating temperatures
for hot water sanitation.
Key Features & Benefits
• TFSU features a pivoting leg assembly, allowing the support legs to be stowed tight against the sink basin for vertical storage
• The sanitation sink can also be used to prepare UGR H&S or UGR-A boil packs to meet unanticipated demand
• No chemicals needed: High operating temperature (171°F to 185°F) in the sanitation sink eliminates the need for dangerous sanitizing chemicals
TRAY RATION HEATER - IMPROVED (TRH-I)
The improved Tray Ration Heater is a versatile mobile field feeding system used
to heat UGR-H&S (Unitized Group Rations-Heat & Serve). The TRH-I, with heat-on-
the-move capability, provides hot meals within minutes of arrival at any remote
location. With optional accessories, the TRH-I can be used to prepare a variety of
fresh foods and commercial boil-in-bag commodities.
This system represents a significant improvement over the original Tray Ration
Heater in two significant ways: Portability and power consumption. The overall
weight has been dramatically reduced by 100 pounds in order to improve
portability. The power consumption has been cut in half, which enables the TRH-I to
operate off-grid, using solar and/or battery power. The TRH-I features single switch
operation and thermostatic control for optimal efficiency.
The TRH-I can be augmented with all the collateral equipment needed to optimize a
mobile field feeding system in any type of environment or terrain.
/// DISASTER RELIEF MOBILE KITCHEN TRAILER (DRMKT)
A quantum leap in field feeding, the Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen
Trailer (DRMKT) represents the perfect marriage between state-of-
the-art closed combustion technology, efficient heat exchange and
appliance design. It is a highly mobile and versatile field feeding
system designed to support virtually any mission to provide mass
care and emergency feeding to first responders and survivors
during domestic and international operations.
The DRMKT overcomes the deficiencies of other mobile field kitchens,
such as open-flame burners, excessive heat and carbon monoxide
exposure. It operates with little noise, has plenty of preparation
space and is ready to operate within 15 minutes of arrival.
The entire DRMKT uses one tenth of the electricity consumed by a
single commercial griddle. All appliances— including griddle, skillet,
two convection ovens, Tray Ration Heater, portable serving lines
and sanitation units—are heated by Airtronic burners in closed
combustion heat exchanger. These systems combine to eliminate noise
and heat contamination while also funneling all combustion exhaust
outside the kitchen. All appliances are insulated and thermostatically
controlled, making them fuel-efficient and safe to use.

solutions. The training space is completely customizable, and the most common
solution has been lining up containers end-to-end up the center of the training
space and attaching two separate shelters to the container in the middle and to
the ground on the outside. These shelters can be open ended or fully enclosed
and outfitted with rubber or turf flooring. BeaverFit can provide lockers, external
rigging, internal storage and a full suite of human performance accessories to
outfit your training facility.
TRAINING TOWERS & COMPLEXES
BeaverFit Special Operations Equipment is purpose built to meet each client’s unique
mission essential tasks and training requirements. Our collaborative requirements-
based design and build process enables training towers and complexes ranging from
relatively simple, small footprint single modality training solutions to large, multi-
modality, design-intensive facilities and training complexes.
Training towers offer a wide range of capabilities, including aerial insertion, natural
and urban climbing, technical and confined-space rescue, entanglement and
collapsed building traversal, as well as hoisting operations. Ranging from live-fire
or simulation shoot houses to combat towns and ship simulators, BeaverFit’s
world-class training facilities are custom designed and fabricated for every location,
enabling focused preparation for modern-day tactical operations and exercises.
OBSTACLE COURSES
BeaverFit Obstacle Courses are designed to assess, develop and refine Warfighter
survivability, strength, endurance and responsiveness.
As with all SOE solutions, our obstacles were developed to enhance the Warfighter’s
lethality and physical resiliency. These obstacles challenge not only physical ability,
but mental agility.
With a library of more than 20 obstacles, our courses actively engage mind and
body—improving cognitive skills, refining coordination and increasing the overall
efficiency of the Warfighter before they ever step foot on the battlefield.
CUSTOM RIGS/RACKS/FACILITY DESIGN
Modular rigs and racks are specifically designed to enable strength coaches
or other fitness leaders to create training spaces catered to their unique
requirements. Building on the foundation of baseline four-foot lifting stations and
six-foot bays, these rigs and racks can be configured to include rope climb stations,
ascending or descending monkey bars, as well as a variety of securable, open
storage and shelving options.

MEDINA SUNPRO SHELTER
The Medina SunPro mirrors our 50-foot by 40-foot SunPro with the exception of
custom Human Performance rigging that connects the two lockers. This is a great
example of how customizable each shelter solution truly is.
50’ X 40’ SUNPRO SHELTER
BeaverFit’s 50-foot by 40-foot SunPro is a fully customizable human performance
shelter, providing a first-rate training area protecting athletes from the harsh
sun and wet weather. The shelter bridges two 40-foot lockers, creating a covered
and open-ended training area. The two lockers can be a mix of performance, ACFT,
storage or custom lockers.
Customers also have access to a myriad of human performance accessories and
exterior rigging options. The shelter comes in both tan and/or white colors and is
specifically engineered to withstand the local wind, snow and seismic loads.
For flooring, the customer has the option of rubber (preferred for Olympic strength
exercises), turf (preferred for agility and movement exercises) or any mixture of
the two. There are infinite color options for the lockers, rigging and turf. Unit logos
may also be placed on the floor, lockers and/or shelter. The lockers and shelter each
have hot dip galvanized steel and a 10-year warranty. The turf has an eight-year
warranty. Shelters are acquired as an equipment purchase, outside of the standard
MILCON process, enabling rapid acquisition, delivery and assembly timelines.
SINGLE LOCKER SUNPRO/LOCKER MOUNTED SHELTER
Whether upgrading a past locker purchase or increasing the capability of a future
project, the Single Locker SunPro or Locker Mounted Shelter are great options.
Each provides excellent protection from the sun and rain for your training space.
The Single Locker SunPro is anchored to the ground and covers the entire training
footprint. The Locker Mounted Shelter is easily installed by the unit and anchored to
a locker, making it more expeditionary.
RANGE LOCKER
Military personnel intimately understand the importance of fundamental combat
skills. On today’s battlefield, combat routinely demands firing from within buildings,
through apertures, behind barricades, on unsteady footing or on unleveled surfaces.
The BeaverFit SOE Range Locker is designed specifically for the development of
combat marksmanship and incorporates features to address each of these combat
conditions. As with all SOE solutions, human performance components are also
included to replicate the high heart rate environment of combat.
Safe operation is always a major consideration throughout the BeaverFit design
process. The locker’s interior and roof platforms each house four firing points
or stations stacked behind a barricade receiver. This supports multiple modes
of operation including independently-controlled individual stations and team
bounding drills. Tool-free operation makes replacing and modifying components
quick and easy. The pitch-able roof platforms can be adjusted and locked in place
by a single person, and the unstable shooting platforms can be easily set up behind
any station or removed. All barricade receivers accept standard sheets of plywood.
This means you can efficiently design and cut any barricade shape or aperture
pattern to exchange as needed.

The aerospace industry is rapidly growing with cutting-edge technology. On the
flip side, this equipment often has a lifespan extending decades, requiring support
long after the delivery date. ADS’s Aerospace team has the industry knowledge and
expertise to source everything from advanced avionics to legacy replacement parts.
Obsolescence Management
Aircraft depends on legacy—and sometimes
obsolete—equipment. Parts obsolescence
negatively impacts a variety of programs
and capabilities. Defining the issue is not
as easy as simply saying that a part is not
made anymore. Parts obsolescence also
includes components that are incapable of
supporting newer, more technologically
advanced platforms and equipment.
For the military, the issue of obsolescence
is a challenging one because the critical
systems that the obsolete components
support cannot simply be abandoned.
When possible, we source any existing
or compatible solutions. Alternatives
include integrating a new component or
redesigning an existing system.
Counterfeit Mitigation
Because a subset of legacy aircraft parts
is in high-demand and difficult to track
down, counterfeits enter the market.
They’re unlawfully reproduced, substituted,
altered or misrepresented as authentic.
Our Aerospace team mitigates accidental
counterfeit procurement by working
exclusively with OEMs or their authorized
distributors. All distributors or brokers
going through vigorous vetting process.
Our team also sets contractually bound
expectations and tracks down all pertinent
records—including traceability, certificates
of conformation and certificates of quality
conformance. If products are deemed a
critical component, we ensure appropriate
tests are performed.
Rapid Acquisition
ADS specialize in solving problems by
connecting customers with the right
suppliers. Through our thousands of long-
standing supplier relationships, we quickly
source and deliver equipment so you can
avoid long lead times, quality issues and
contracting difficulties.
Modernization and Sustainment
Rapidly changing requirements, growing
threats, shrinking budgets and legacy
infrastructure are just a few of the hurdles
you face. Finding the right products and
services is only part of the solution. No matter
where your requirements is in its life cycle, we
can help. Whether it’s thinking outside the box
to modernize existing equipment, scouting
technology, providing additional training or
product life cycle management, we’ll be with
you every step of the way.

Performance specification developed by Cargo Helicopter.
CORROSION-FREE ENVIRONMENTS (CFE)
Critical assets exposed to humidity, UV radiation, pollution, sand and salt, temperature
changes, etc., begin to rust and corrode almost immediately. Every day they go
unprotected, your readiness decreases and your maintenance costs increase.
Cocoon has 40 years of experience fighting corrosion and has developed the
most advanced products and technologies to neutralize the causes of corrosion
and stop the aging process. We can help you significantly increase readiness and
decrease corrosion-related costs for a range of assets including aircraft, vehicles,
preposition stock, storage afloat, parts and more.
CFE ASSURANCE PROGRAMS
Creating a corrosion-free environment (CFE) is just the first step in protecting your
assets. Equally important is a program that provides you with actionable, relevant
and timely data, as well as ensures your facility remains in spec.
Cocoon offers a CFE Assurance Program that offers real-time alerts when humidity
levels are out of spec, encrypted weekly and monthly reports, as well as on-site
training, inspection and preventative maintenance every six months.
CFE Assurance Programs can be used in numerous applications including preposition
stock, staged readiness (vehicles, containers, etc.), buildings and warehouses.

Navy Deep Sea Diver to Navy EOD Operator
Bryant started his career as a Navy Deep Sea
Diver, attending dive school in Virginia Beach,
VA. Just nine of 39 candidates made it through.
“Graduating provided me with a huge bump
in confidence, which was something I needed
at the time,” explained Bryant.
After spending nine years working his way
up to the qualification of Saturation Diver,
he decided to start a new path in the Navy:
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).
Navy EOD operators are also divers, so Bryant
was able to bypass dive school, head straight
to the EOD academic portion and continue
on to Army Airborne school at Fort Benning,
since EOD operators are also qualified as Naval
Parachutists.
Bryant spent the next 18 years in EOD as both
an enlisted operator and a commissioned
officer, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander.
While serving, he went through dozens
of military-specific schools, earned his
undergraduate degree and completed two
Masters’ degree programs. His career took
him around the world, including combat
deployments in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
/// SCOTT BRYANT - CWMD MANAGERScott Bryant current manages our Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) market, but
his career started when he walked into a Navy recruiter’s office at 18 and enlisted for six years.

Connecting Active Duty Experience to ADS
ADS’s CWMD team supports EOD and CBRN customers and manages
EOD, CBRN/FES and Maritime suppliers—all the skillsets and
product types Bryant had years of first-hand experience with.
In addition to his subject matter expertise, Bryant brought his
leadership experience to a team at ADS. His first official leadership
role was as a diving supervisor, completing high-risk diving
missions with a team of nine. That number continued to grow,
culminating in serving as an Officer in charge of a 200-person
combat unit, as well as leading 1,100 people during a joint Navy/
Marine Corps exercise.
“In the military, you’re placed in leadership positions very early in
your career, and there are many parallels between leading in the
military and managing in the corporate world,” said Bryant.
Common Values
Fewer than one percent of the U.S. population serves in the armed
forces. Veterans set aside personal interests for the greater
good of the mission and the unit. Bryant said this approach not
only improves the chances of having a cohesive team that can
consistently accomplish goals on time and with quality results, but
it also helps each individual become the best version of themselves.
“My personal philosophy is
that you should never strive
to the best employee in the

be the best employee for

READINESSIN THE AGE OF INNOVATION INCREASE LETHALITY /// MAXIMIZE SURVIVABILITY /// OPTIMIZE PERFORMANCE
Readiness remains the top priority for all branches of the military. The ability to
mobilize, deploy, move and sustain the force is directly tied to mission success. When
readiness is prioritized at all levels—whether focused on repairing and modernizing
equipment, investing in research and development or training for potential large-
scale conflicts—the result is a resilient and lethal soldier.
The 82nd Airborne Division’s Ready Brigade rapidly deployed this year on New Year’s
Eve. This no-notice, cold start, emergency deployment was made possible by
extensive prep, planning and training. While rapid mobilization can be counted in
hours, other mobilization efforts may take weeks or months and involve collective
training, equipment issue, medical and administrative preparation, as well as the
movement of combat platforms and other equipment.
Readiness is a rolling target. As soon as one key area matches the pace of innovation,
it’s time to address another. Global military conflict will shift rapidly during the coming
years with battles spanning the ground, air, sea, space and cyber realm. Adversaries
will increasingly shift away from manpower to machines as we rely more on AI. In
a time when technology moves faster than the supply chain and missions outpace
budgets, ADS works with thousands of suppliers to ensure we can support your
readiness requirements.

INCREASE LETHALITY
The right equipment and training are vital to preparing
Warfighters for close-combat interactions, ensuring
they’ll never be outranged, outgunned or overmatched.
As weapon and optic technology rapidly changes and
the government acquisition cycle works to catch up,
ADS provides immediate access through 65+
procurement vehicles.
Lethality is also about balancing soldier capabilities with
the ability to transport items without critical levels of
fatigue and injury. Dismounted ground combat troops may
carry up to 100 pounds of gear and equipment in conflict,
hindering soldier mobility, increasing fatigue and reducing
mission performance. That weight includes Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE), weapons, ammunition,
batteries, water and other critical gear. Even though
technology advancements have reduced the size and
weight of individual equipment components, the number
of items a soldier is required to wear has skyrocketed.
Simply put, heavy weight decreases tactical ability. Using
robotics, mobile platforms or other solutions to offload
soldier weight will increase situational awareness,
lethality and enhance mission readiness.

MAXIMIZE SURVIVABILITY
Procuring the right equipment provides an unparalleled advantage when troop survivability is on the line. Ensuring
the Warfighter is equipped with the most advanced products in times of heightened risk reduces the risk of negatively
impacting mission performance. While time of dismount is unpredictable, being prepared for any weather, terrain or
mass pandemic starts by leveraging ADS’s tens of thousands of products and custom solutions.
/// COLD WEATHER SYSTEMS
Equipping your force with the best extreme cold weather
gear ensures they won’t just endure the cold, they will
outlast it. Soldiers in cold temperatures need gear adaptable
to varying operational and environmental conditions.
ADS understands your budget rarely includes a separate
line item for cold weather gear. Not to mention, official
DoD cold weather requirements guidance is riddled with
capability gaps at extreme temperatures, especially for
individual mobility needs.
Our custom kitted solutions take the guesswork out of
unstandardized acquisition of cold weather gear by using
proven commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment—
ensuring maximum compatibility with your current
equipment and operational doctrine.
/// ON-TIME DELIVERY
During the past two years, demand for Berry Amendment compliant cold weather clothing and gear has skyrocketed.
Because DoD apparel requirements are inconsistent, the industry is ill-equipped to handle spikes in orders. Consequently,
lead times grow alongside demand. Adjust your ordering patterns so you get your cold weather gear on time.

Decontamination and Disinfectant
In order to reduce the risk of infection,
decontamination and disinfection are a priority.
By reducing microbial contamination, potential
transmission of infection can be diminished.
Personal Protective Gear
During high-risk situations, staying safe allows first
responders to focus on the task at hand. Reduce
potential transmission with the right equipment.
Diagnostics
While fielding a pandemic outbreak, the speed and
accuracy of equipment makes all the difference. Top-
of-the-line diagnostic tools provide timely readings and
updates on patients.
Shelter, Quarantine and Isolation
Should quarantine be necessary, caring for patients
in isolation is paramount. Rapid deployment shelter
systems allow responders to quickly set up emergency
medical centers, protecting personnel and patients. As
for the equipment inside, ADS can help with that, too.
Time is of the essence during a pandemic. Supply chains are strained, and guidelines are ever evolving. Through
thousands of long-standing supplier relationships, we quickly find and deliver the equipment our military and first
responders need to do their job—safely. ADS works with hundreds of suppliers to help mitigate the risks involved in a
potential pandemic event.

Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT)
Preparation goes further than just how much mental
education and combat training you’ve put in. To be fully
ready for whatever mission life throws your way, you
need to physically ready, as physical fitness is the biggest
factor in your ability to accomplish your mission. All
soldiers, regardless of position or rank, must be capable
to deploy and fight.
Focused on transforming the Army’s fitness culture
by reducing preventable injuries and attrition and
enhancing mental toughness and stamina, the newly
created Army Combat Fitness Test is replacing the 39-
year-old Army Physical Fitness Test. This will become the
Army physical test of record no later than October 2020.
Each of the six events highlight fitness components that
can be applied to common soldier tasks, optimizing
performance in areas that really matter.
“This test was developed in this way to better predict a
Soldier’s readiness for the demands of the modern-day
battlefield and to validate that the soldier is prepared
for combat.” -ACFT IOC
The six-event test includes:
• Three Repetition Maximum Deadlift
• Standing Power Throw (SPT)
• Hand Release Push-up-Arm Extension (HRP)
• Sprint-Drag-Carry (SDC)
• Leg Tuck (LTK)
• Two-Mile Run (2MR)
OPTIMIZE PERFORMANCE
In order to achieve optimal performance, Warfighters
must address not only physical strength, but also
cognitive function and social fitness. This includes the
ability to make decisions faster in a combat environment
and faster recovery from traumatic events so they can
return to their units in top shape.
As military operations become more complex, human
performance requirements across all branches are
growing more stringent. It’s crucial our service men
and women are equipped with superior equipment, even
in the roughest of environments, to be fit to fight and be
a lethal force.
ADS has developed an ACFT kit to support this initiative
with the required equipment, enabling soldiers to train
and test safely and effectively.

/// THE MISSION: UNITED SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS (USO)
Founded in 1941 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the USO united several service organizations
into one to lift the morale of our military and nourish support on the home front.
The Support: Centers,
Entertainment and Programs
USO Centers provide a warm and comforting
place where service members can connect
to loved ones via Internet or phone, play a
video game, catch a movie, have a snack or
just put their feet up and relax.
When deployed, servicemen and women long
for family, home and country, which is why
the USO brings entertainers to them. They
team up with a variety of stars for concerts,
meet and greets and other interactive events.
The USO expresses our nation’s gratitude
and commitment to service members and
their families through programs focused on
connection, strengthening, wellness
and resiliency.

Beach collaborate with the Patriotic Festival
concert series. The concerts are at 5th
street and the oceanfront Friday, Saturday
and Sunday.
Through expeditionary outreach support,
including care packages, snacks, holiday
celebration items and internet services
provided throughout challenging deployments,
they ensure service members stay connected
to the people and places they love.
Their more than 200 centers across the
world are operated by thousands of staff and
volunteers whose goals are to match service
members’ vigilance and provide best-in-class
service to those who sacrifice so much
for America.

CWMDCOUNTER WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
Staying current with rapid advancements is
a challenge. The element of surprise, unseen
agents, lethal devices and the constantly
changing nature of the CBRNE threats make
development of new technologies imperative.
Our detection and decontamination experts
understand the wide landscape of detection
and identification capabilities to advanced
analytical identification tools. Our team
identifies technological gaps and to bring you
the very best defense equipment.
CBRNE///// Full spectrum detection capabilities
and personal protective equipment
DETECTION
Detecting CBRNE threats
without putting military
personnel at unnecessary risk
is a common objective in the
next-generation warfighting.
Detection systems,
communication equipment,
and protective gear are
designed for improved first
responder safety.
PROTECTION
With a wide range of
chemical, biological and
radiological threats, it is
imperative troops have
foundation of personnel
protective equipment and
a breathing apparatus. ADS
has contract vehicles in place
to offer rapid acquisition of
boots, gloves, suits, and more.
DECONTAMINATION
The nature and extent of
contamination is as unique as
the environment it’s in, and no
single solution is applicable in
all situations. ADS’ experts can
help first responders identify
the appropriate combination
of decontamination methods
needed for a specific
environment or threat.
We work with suppliers, warfighters, law
enforcement and first responders to develop
systems designed to counter WMD and
adapt to emerging technology trends in the
following categories:
• CBRNE
• Dive & Maritime Equipment
• Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)
• Fire & Emergency Services (FES)
Whether you’re a breacher making entry into a hardened target, an
EOD technician conducting a render safe procedure (RSP) or a HAZMAT
technician responding to an incident, ADS’s CWMD team supports readiness
against chemical, biological, nuclear and health security threats.
Continued on page 64 >>>
Dive and maritime operations incorporate maritime
mobility equipment, including combatant craft, diving
equipment and diver propulsion vehicles designed to
transport and enable specialized operators to defeat
waterborne WMDs and devices.
When ADS started out as Atlantic Diving Supply more
than two decades ago, we outfitted Navy SEALs with the
best wetsuits and diving equipment available. Since then,
we’ve continually grown our relationships with industry-
leading dive manufacturers to ensure our customers
have the best available technology when determining
equipment requirements.
Unmanned Undersea Systems (UUS) contain UUVs
and ROVS designed to remotely—and oftentimes
autonomously—locate high-priority underwater
targets such as submerged Improvised Explosive
Devices (IEDs) or sea mines.
Industry leaders are continually developing more
capable unmanned systems to accomplish a wide variety
of tasks, from discreet reconnaissance to neutralizing
CBRNE threats. Unmanned missions have increased
during the past decade, spurring users to incorporate
unmanned systems into non-traditional facets of
their operations—logistics, maintenance and repair,
and transportation. The DOD is already projecting an
increase in time, resources, strategic initiatives, goals
and planned expenditures related to unmanned systems.
Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and Remotely
Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are utilized to locate, and
identify mines, as well as other unexploded ordnance
over large areas of open water. Deployed AUVs utilize
side-scan SONAR to hunt for suspicious objects. Once a
target is identified, the AUV data is uploaded to an ROV,
which is piloted to the target for positive identification
and inspection via real-time, high-definition video. Semi-
autonomous mine disposal systems are designed to
destroy mines with a built-in, large caliber-shaped charge.

Hydroid’s REMUS 600 UUV is positively buoyant and is designed to
operate to depths of 600 meters. With mission duration capability
of up to 24 hours, the REMUS 600 delivers unprecedented
endurance. Sonar technology is used on these UUVs to capture
images for organic mine countermeasure, hydrographic surveys,
area searches, and surveillance and reconnaissance.
/// HYDROID INTEGRATES HISAS 2040 MODULE WITH IN-MISSION PROCESSOR ONTO A REMUS 600 UNMANNED UNDERWATER VEHICLE
REMUS 600 UUV applications include:
• Mine Countermeasure Operations
• Hydrographic Surveys
• Search & Salvage Operations
• Marine Research
• Environmental Monitoring
• Debris Field Mapping
The in-mission processor (pictured in red)
allows real-time processing of High-Resolution
Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Sonar (HISAS)
2040 data, giving operators the ability to download
high-resolution images immediately when the vehicle
returns from its mission. Previously, because of
the large file sizes, it could take several hours to
download after a mission is complete.
This solution is ideal for time-sensitive missions like
mine countermeasures, where faster data access
means safer, more efficient operations. Other HISAS
applications include hydrographic surveys, pipeline
inspection and rapid environmental assessment.
Ground Robotics
Unmanned Ground Systems (UGS) enables operators to conduct reconnaissance, render safe or counter-charge
procedures on WMDs remotely using robots. Unmanned ground vehicles have become ubiquitous in a multitude of
roles, whether that’s to lighten the load our Warfighters need to carry, increase their stand-off distance from threats,
provide enhanced situational awareness in various environments or employ convoy leader-follower technology.
The ground-robotics market continues to shift toward systems that allow for unmanned deliveries of cargo while
simultaneously serving as teammates to soldiers in the field, rather than simply as tools.
EOD ///// Remote access kits, diagnostic
systems and remote firing devices
IEDs can be quickly assembled with
a variety of nonmilitary components
and employed with little or no
training. Explosive Ordnance Disposal
(EOD) technicians adapt to these
regularly evolving devices through
first-hand knowledge, state-of-the-art
equipment and up-to-date training.

RECONNAISSANCE
EOD Technicians respond to a specific area to
investigate and gather intelligence. A tactical
robot with an audio and video payload helps
gather real-time information.
1
2 DECONSTRUCTION
If disruption is not enough and the bomb must
be destroyed, EOD technicians may deliver
a countercharge to suspect IED via robot
without risking human life.
4 REMOVAL
EOD technicians may direct the robot to carry
the suspect device away from a busy traffic
area to a more remote site for inspection
or disposal. Technicians then use robots to
disrupt devices.
3 DIAGNOSIS
X-ray kits may be added to a robot to help the
technician determine whether the suspect
package contains IED components.

SIMULATIONTRAINING
When not engaged in combat,
training dominates military activity.
Mission success relies heavily on the
effectiveness of training systems.
With advanced simulation training
technologies, Warfighters gain
experience with real-time scenarios.
Combat readiness depends on
simulation training solutions that place
the user in the action, facing decision-
making pressures while maintaining
situational awareness. Simply put,
effective training saves lives.
Realistic training provides real-world experience
24/7 Customer Care /// +1 800.948.9433 73
Training is an investment that goes beyond
the evolution of the individual. Basic training
in the military requires regular reevaluation
as a whole, alongside updated tactics,
techniques and procedures (TTPs).
Because learning requires repetition,
commanders have many opportunities to
test the latest TTPs on both a regular and
recurring basis, but hurdles like cost, time
and effectiveness can hinder advancement
toward top tier training.
Ammunition is expensive, planning scenarios
takes time and evaluating scenario outcomes
is challenging without knowing which
metrics will get them closer to the objective.
Weapon simulation training provides
a low-risk, cost-effective immersive
training environment. High-definition
projection and surround sound create
heightened awareness and proper use
of force responses. Users face threats in
true to life training scenarios, allowing
trainee responses to multiple threats and
applications of proper tactics simultaneously.

Tactical Combat Casualty Care
TCCC is designed to prevent combat deaths by
teaching trauma stabilization techniques, thus
enabling the wounded to survive transport
to a hospital. These skills include tourniquet
applications, wound packing, airway support
and hemorrhage control, as well as applying
intravenous therapy medications.
The most realistic training solutions include
augmented dummies that look, feel and
respond like a live human. These dummies
simulate combat trauma injuries and
gunshot wounds, allowing users dynamic,
hands-on training.
The stakes are high in medicine. Move those
requirements to the battlefield and you need
a whole new skillset. Medics are trained to
quickly assess a medical situation in a combat
zone, provide care for the most critical
patients first and transport them to safety.
Simulation training is one of the few ways to
prepare medics for those many requirements.
Performing battlefield care in a simulated
combat environment on actors and/or
mannequins helps bolster medical skills and
readiness in a way no classroom training can.
Medical simulations layer in environmental
stressors such as low visibility and the
sound of gunshots, screaming or sirens.
These high-stress scenarios aim to improve
medical training and boost medic confidence
prior to combat experience.

RATIS:NEXT-GENERATION SPECIAL OPS LIFE PRESERVERSpecial Operations Forces have long sought a programmable automatic inflator
that allows the user to select the inflation profile of their life preserver units
(LPUs) based on the mission. In addition, existing horse-collar style self-
righting life preserver units are large and bulky, negatively impacting mission
performance. These current LPUs restrict the wearer’s field of vision and head
mobility, create snag hazards and interfere with weapon use.
Continues on page 80 >>>
The Design
The RATIS fits over the shoulders and integrates with a
ballistic vest or can be worn on its own. Mounting clips are
cinched down to a snug fit and connect to a wide range of
vests to suit each operator. The small footprint and flexible
material of the RATIS gives operators freedom to execute the
same actions they would if they weren’t wearing it: climbing
caving ladders, swimming, shouldering a weapon and storing
ammunition on the carrier.
• Ultra-lightweight
• Sleek profile
• High range of motion
• Weight distributed to back
The new LPU utilizes exclusive inflator technology, developed
with long-time partner Hammar®, and is a perfect illustration
of how collaboration best benefits the user community and
drives industry innovation. The inclusion of inflation expert
Hammar® meant providing the operator true mission flexibility
through game-changing programmable inflator technology.
This new system allows the operator to choose whether the
inflation is triggered by depth, time submerged in water
or a combination of both. When compared to current
solutions, this sleek inflatable provides a wider range of
unencumbered head movement and weapons manipulations,
improved visibility and uses minimal real estate on an already
overloaded operator.
When the inflation system is triggered, the 1-pound RATIS
releases a film cell and explodes to over 40 pounds of buoyancy.
This system is capable of floating heavy-load users like snipers
and can surface operators from depth. Buoyancy distribution in
the inflatable cell turns unconscious operators face-up so they
have a clear airway, resolving an issue with current solutions.
With support from ADS, Inc. and
based on significant engagement
with Naval Special Warfare and
other SOF users, Mustang Survival
developed a groundbreaking life
preserver so lightweight, low
profile and non-restrictive that
military operators barely know
they’re wearing it. This solution
is the culmination of more than five
years of research and development.
80 ADSINC.COM /// OUR PURPOSE. YOUR MISSION.
“We’re very excited about the launch of this unique,
new product and the cooperative effort with
Mustang that brought it to fruition. We truly value
our relationship with Mustang and look forward to
many more years of working together to solve our
warfighters most challenging problems.”
– Graham Kessler, ADS Director of Product
Development and Integration
Kessler said introducing the next-generation life
preserver for Special Operations Forces is particularly
meaningful for ADS, since the company’s first customers
were Navy SEALs.
“This is game-changing technology that will make a
real difference in the lives and performance of our
warfighters and we’re proud to introduce it,”
said Kessler.

REPLACEMENT SPONSONS
Upgrade your original sponsons with the superior fit and long lasting performance
of Wing sponsons. Wing polyurethane has twice the puncture resistance and four
times greater abrasion resistance than Hypalon. The standard expected service
life of a Wing polyurethane tube is seven to eight years—versus only five for a
Hypalon tube—with Wing tubes running stiff, strong and still in service after 12 to 14
years is increasingly common. Wing has worked hard to replicate the form of the
original sponson while in most cases far exceeding the fit and overall function of
the original.
Some of Wing’s over 200 existing replacement sponsons designs include:
• Willard 670 model S.O.L.A.S
• Zodiac 670 S.O.L.A.S
• Zodiac 540 model USCG
• Zodiac 630 model USCG

RIB TUBES AND SPONSONS
WING® Inflatables sponsons can be made to any specifications, to fit virtually
any Rigid Inflatable setup on the globe. Original equipment manufactured (OEM)
sponsons partner with some of the finest RIB and RHIB builders on the water. Wing
specializes in designing and manufacturing four types of RIB tubes, or sponsons.
There are advantages to each type. Which you choose depends on the specific
purpose and application of the RIB in real-world situations. You can be sure any of
the four types (Air, Air/Foam, Hybrid and Foam) are the world’s most durable.
• Constructed primarily of Mil Spec 40oz polyurethane fabric, with options for lighter weight fabric

/// WING P SERIES BOATS
Made of Cooley Coolthane® polyurethane fabric, the P Series
is stronger and enjoys two to three times the puncture
resistance of Hypalon and PVC products. Tube seams are
heat welded into a single fabric—not glued—forming a joint
even stronger than the material itself. In speed tests with
medium loads, each of the P Series boats without speed
tubes achieved the same top-end speed as a competitive
model with speed tubes. Additionally, each of the P Series
throw a smaller wake profile, so clandestine operations
stay that way.
• Wing hull design creates hydrodynamic lift and

quicker to plane and greater speeds with heavier loads
• Large interior space
• Polyurethane fabric used for longer life and two to three
