INTRODUCTION
They warehouse robot is a suggested robot design that would enhance some of the workhouse operations.
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED
Moving containers from one point to their designated destinations Cleaning of the warehouse floor
Fire extinguishing
PROPOSED CAPABILITIES
The robot should be able to move to various points of a warehouse as required by the task to be accomplished
The robot should be able to pick and place containers
The robot should be able to identify containers and determine their eventual destinations
The robot should be able to home- return to its designated station after completion of its tasks
The robot should be able to clean the warehouse floor- incorporated in the design should be a floor cleaning mechanism
The robot should be able to detect and determine locations of fire points
The robot should be able to attack a fire whenever there is a fire outbreak in the warehouse
The robot should be able to communicate wirelessly to a central computer in the warehouse during the tasks of object identification, location determination, and fire extinguishing and cleaning.
The robot should be able to change response with related changes in the database.
