The wait for seniors looking for accomadations in a facility is 2.5-3 years and will get longer as our population ages as there are very few new facilities being built at the moment. We need to have more developments downtown that include open air markets pubs or retaurants that include patios and green space making for a more inviting and none threatening environment Number three issue, and why? Crime on 107ave. With the prliferation of massage parlours a increase in prostitution and drug dealing. This having a negative effect on the businesses on 107 as no one wants to be confronted by these people and businesses are not interested in renovateing or refronting their buildings. Which should be a higher spending priority for council, LRT construction or road construction, and why? LRT construction As the city grows and sprawls a efficient LRT and transportation network to feed the LRT stations incorporating the bedroom communitites around Edmonton ie Sherwood park, St Albert should increase rider usage cut down on cummuter traffic and should elleviate the need for new roads, expensive reconstruction and repairs. City council has turned down a motion to hold a non-binding plebiscite on keeping the City Centre Airport as a general aviation facility. Should the new council reopen the airport issue? .
