1. Who are the SH.A.AW Brothers?

Ocktane and Unknown w/Cause and Effect on production as well as D.J. June, Able-1 and Taseone.

2. Where are you guys from?

ock: Well you know it ain’t where your from its where your at, but we are straight out of South Carolina Sumter/Columbia, but we both have traveled a little but always ended up back here, so it’s only right we tell everybody about this place and represent it.

3. What would you say describes your style of music?

un: T.S.B. is authentic but innovative hip-hop, imagine a clash of WU-TANG and NATIVE TOUNGUES.

4. Who would you consider your major influences?

un: Donnie Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Nas, Ghostface... ock: Run-DMC, Jimi Hendrix, Tricky, Redman, Gza and of course De La Soul. As far as producers we love the Rza, Primo, Adam F, and Pete Rock...

5. Current releases?

un: Well we’ve got a mixtape out now, the second installment to our Killa Tape series. We also have a collaborative album out with Beat Junction Project called The Chameleon Theory. Its

about our transitions in life, and the constant human struggle, it’s beautiful.

7.Whats up with Beat Junction Project?

ock: Beat Junction Project is a collective of artists with a common goal, we felt if we had the illest arsenal of emcees and D.J’s in one crew the musical possibilities become almost endless, and we tried to give the best example of the culture we could on one album and now here we are 6 years and 5 releases later, still getting together to do it.

8. Any future goals, or tour plans?

un: We want to continue being a release for the people, and take this love everywhere. When we get that love back we call it success.ock: As far as tours we have a few shows coming in the southeast, as a matter of fact we just rocked with Villanova and Rehab in Myrtle Beach, that was crazy but no tour as of yet. We would also like to get closer to the skate world, we both skate and I broke my arm last summer on vert.

As fun as riding around your lake hitting the wake and doing flat tricks is, it is always much more fun when you have some rails to hit and mix it up a little between your

water tricks. The Projects wakeskate/wakeboard camp believes that rail riding is just as important as wake or flat tricks. This in mind, I am here today for all the wakeskaters out there that are looking to mix up your local hot spot with a rail of your very own. For your first rail I suggest a low budget 24 foot flat bar. Grab your supplies and find a spot near shore that is not to deep, has soft ground and that you can drive by with your boat or wave runner comfortably. Start building your rail by jetting or sledging in your four 12 foot 4x4’s in a straight line every eight feet. Next you want to grab two 16 foot 2x4’s and two 8 foot 2x4’s and put your band on. To make your band, screw the 2x4’s to the side of your poles running across the water at the desired height of your rail. Anywhere from 12 to 20 inches depending on how high you can ollie is a good first rail height. Once your poles are in and straight and you’ve put the band on, take four 8 foot 2x4’s and brace each 4x4 by jetting or sledging the 2x4 into the ground on a diagonal then nail the support to the pole. Remember, stagger the braces to better support the rail. Now grab the chain saw and cut your 4x4’s flush with the top of your bands and any access bracing that might be sticking up. Your rail is starting to

look like a rail. For the top board use your 16 and 8 foot 2x8’s screw them down flush with the sides of the bands and the ends of the rail. The last thing to do is put your fiberon on. You should have three 16 foot fiberon boards, cut one in half so you now have two 16 foot boards and two 8 foot boards. Run the fiberon on the 2x8 top board double wide, leaving around an inch of fiberon over hang off the side of your top board. Counter sinking all of your screws in the fiberon makes for a less violent expe-rience hitting your rail. If you want more ideas on rails to build check out our rails at www.projectscamp.com.
