The House Was Full. Ok, did God blow our minds or what!!! Our First 1st Sunday Service was held on May 2nd, 2010 and it was awesome. Words cannot express the joy that we felt on that day. Thanks God for the faithful servants we had from the parking lot attendant, the usher’s greeters, hospitality, children’s ministry, deaf ministry, the worship team, dance team and oh we dare not forget about Pastor Sonny (PS1). We are so grateful that we were full to capacity;God really showed up and showed out. There were great comments and fed back from our guest. Some of the comments were “you all have everything like a big church”, “the worship was off the chain”, or “the word was encouraging”. To God be the glory for the things he has done. .

New Life Come Back Event. Want to stay connected well every month we will have a comeback event were we can do just that. Last month we went bowling. Needless to say Pastor Sonny and Lady Kris didn’t win. Competition was high and Mario was victorious. We heard the sounds of the pin ball screaming strike and the cry of the gutter balls. The next Event will be on June 25, 2010 we are going to a dinner and movie. So please invite your people. Oh, and we would love to see you face in the place.

Outreach Closet. What is out reach closet you may ask? This is a ministry that provides clothes to needy families. We donated to the Mason family last month. Outreach closet provides new and gently used items to families in need. The launch team at new life made it happen. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the outreach closet, you all were truly a blessing here.

Launch Team Opportunities.

Do you have a gift that is not being used? Do have a heart for evangelism, or can you sang? Whatever your gift BRING IT!!! The Launch Team meets at least once a month, in the interim we meet on Skype. So please notate on you communication cards if you would like to be apart or you can speak with Lady Kris about this opportunity.

PASTORS HEART Wow is all I can say. God is really moving in this season. And we are so grateful that he has Chosen us to be used for his glory. Please continue to lift us up in your prayers as we seek Gods face and guidance, so that we can lead as we are being lead. The Pre-Launch Services are just a preview of what God is about to do. We will meet every 1st Sunday of the month until till October 10, 2010 (John 10:10 scriptural reference). Old things are passed away and behold all things are new. Let’s grab hold of the promise as we are moving forward.

The State of Marriages Today

Why is it that people don't value marriage like they used to? Has this become something that we view as in the olden days or that was for my grandparents but not for me. I hope that we can get back to the basic, to love one another even as Christ has loved the church and gave himself her it. Can we learn to love again, unconditional. In sickness in health, for better or for worse till death do us part. I think we can. I encourage you to look back and discover why you love the person that you are with. Remember the times and take this journey what we call marriage and make the best of it.

Marriage can be the most wonderful thing, if you allow it to be. I was reading a post today which stated the benefits of being married. There are many benefits of being married, good health, longer lives, less likely to be poverty stricken, but the one I value is that marriage is the foundation of the church and the world. When we think of Christ giving of himself as stated before, this love is unselfish; it is not puff up with pride. This kind of love unifies all people. So let’s get back to loving each and back to our/ the foundation.
