CLINICAL INNOVATIONS AND INITIATIVES Clinical Innovations 2017 - Present Spatial Tracking of Acute Hospitalized Patients using Real-Time Location System (SPOT) Wake Forest Baptist Health
This pilot initiative developed to promote post-operative ambulation was identified as one of two programs under the Function First Initiative of the Center for Healthcare Innovation at Wake Forest Baptist Health. The program has demonstrated significant potential leading to expansion of the program throughout Wake Forest Baptist Health main campus and Davie Medical Center (CarePass). This innovation has also led to donor support ($50,000).
