This valveless, pressureless, transportable, autofilling, personal freezing/storage system uses a microdosing pump to convey Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) from the reservoir Dewar to the cold-transducer in the dry storage container. In this way,cryogenic temperatures are equally transduced to the storage area, resulting in a100% dry place to store your samples in temperatures of -1900°C or colder.As this system is not autofilled by LN2 pressure tanks and only contains limitedamounts of LN2, this allows you to use this personal freezing/storage system atyour workstation. The storage chamber has a volume of 30 litres and has a storagecapacity of 1536 x 2 ml vials or 1920 x 1.2 ml vials. Inventory systems are alsoavailable. Using the VWR CryoPro Personal Freezer DPF30 to store your or yourgroup’s samples on the bench reduces the need for transportation or provides anisolation unit for particular samples. The units are easily transportable and caneven be operated by a car battery.
