ADOT Continues the Discussion on Rural Airport -After Hour User Fees

ADOT proposes to create after hour user fees at ADOT staffed rural airports for basic airport services, snow and ice removal. Latest documents published by the ADOT are available at the following links:

You are probably familiar with the NATA Workers Compensation Insurance Program which has been around since 1975, but you might not know that it is now underwritten by Allianz Global & Corporate Specialty as of 2016. Both insurance companies are A.M. Best ‘A’ rated or better and world leaders in the insurance industry.

In 2014, FAA attorneys issues a legal interpretation that prevents the use of Area Forecasts to allow for dispatch of flights under instrument flight rules in Alaska. Alaskan air carriers been asked to purchase TAF weather, a service historically provided by the National Weather Service.
