Barre of Grand Bayou, Assumption parish, and has achieved his present prominence and highcommercial standing by reason of his conspicuous ability, untiring energy and faithful

attention to duty. Mr. LaBarre is president and general manager of the Ascen-

sion Ice Co., Ltd., and will make things hum in the ice and beer line.
