Hi from Nat’l. Chevy, I hope all is well with you. Things are good here. We’ve been keeping pretty busy for this time of year. Thanks to all of you who have renewed your membership. We really appreciate your support. The weather here has been pretty good. Warm days, cooler nights, sun, rain, but no snow ... yet. The leaves are changing and it won’t be long before the scenery will be beautiful. It’s what comes after that’s not so nice. I hear from some people that it is going to be a bad winter with lots of snow, but it seems we will get what we get. There is nothing you can do about it. Maybe I can escape to Las Vegas and Phoenix for a couple of NASCAR races. There’s not much news around here. We had
a stray cat around here who surprised us with four kittens. The mom died, one kitten died, the neighbors got one, so we’ve been taking care of the other two. Now we’ve decided to keep them. The only problem is they like to be around people, but don’t like being touched. Hopefully after we get them fixed and shots they will be a little more friendly. We’ve been getting a lot of classified ads lately and remember they are free for you to use. One member would like to see prices on all items for sale, but that is up to you. You may get more responses if items are priced because that is important to most of us. Time to go – ‘til next time....

Decatur, IL Sept. 7, 2017National Chevy Association This is BelAirBob and I live in Decatur, IL. Am sending in dues for next year and will include a picture of my 1954 BelAir Sport Coupe. This picture was taken at Speed Lube here in Decatur. I have had my car serviced there since it was restored in 1995, by my good neighbor. What has been recently put on the car is a new set of steel belted tires. Sure does make a difference in the ride. I have put more than 1,000 miles on it already this year and it has a total of 151,000 on the odometer. In a good car show it would be classified as a driver. I have been a member since 1995, and the first thing I bought was a set of wheel covers that I still use. Nuff said. Keep up the good work.

Hi. I saw in your June Parts-Line that I got today that you’re looking for new car pictures. I picked this up last fall. The body had been redone and the motor rebuilt. This is more of a street rod. I did a lot of work on it this past winter. I just ordered new front and rear bumpers from your site. I don’t know if it would be something you would publish in your Parts-Line. I would take more up-to-date pictures if you are interested.
