    WHO WILL

    STAND UP FOROUR PEOPLE?

    Only the British National Party

WHEN Keith Brown was stabbed to death inhis garden by his Muslim neighbour in adispute over property, justice was never goingto be seen to be done.

Keiths killer Habib Khan, was a leading member

of the Muslim community in Stoke and backedby a sympathetic media campaign he got offwith a charge of manslaughter and was sen-tenced to just eight years. If the roles had beenreversed, Keith Brown would now be serving alife sentence for murder.

The Establishment would like to brush anti-whiteracist murders under the carpet so as not to upsetthe ethnic minorities or alert the British people towhat is going on in their own country - but theBritish National Party wont let that happen.

On Saturday 20th September Nick Grifn, the

Chairman of the British National Party, addressedan open air rally of over 500 supporters in Stoke-on-Trent who had gathered to remember KeithBrown and show support for his family.

The British people will no longer accept being

second class citizens in their own country. Wewill be ghting for justice for the ignored whitevictims, Nick told the audience.

What we are demanding is fair play for our people.Wherever our people are being discriminatedagainst, we will be there, and little by little, wewill teach the Establishment that ignoring ourpeople, ignoring our rights, pretending we do notexist, is no longer an option.

During the day more than 50,000 leafets weredistributed alerting the people of Stoke to theinjustice done to Keith Browns family.

IMPACT ON THE DOORSTEP: British National Party candidate Nick Porter, described his campaign team as the best canvass-ers and campaigners in the country after their efforts in the Egerton ward by-election.

LABOUR and the Tories were upto their usual dirty tricks againin the Egerton Ward by-electionfor Melton Borough Council onThursday 4th September.Last time the ward was fought it wasa tight-run affair with BNP candidate

Nick Porter, taking second place fromthe Tories and nishing just 180 votes

behind the winning Labour Partycandidate. The election was called followingthe resignation of Labour councillorBrenda Smith, and her Partys intendedreplacement, Steve Dungworth, didntwaste any time in sinking to newdepths of political campaigning. In hisvery rst leaet, he printed the namesof those people who had signed the

BNP candidates nomination paperin a disgraceful attempt to intimidatethose residents taking part in thedemocratic process to ensure that anelection took place. As if that wasnt

bad enough, the Labour candidate liedin his next leaet, trying to claim thathe actually lived in Egerton ward whenin fact he lives in Sysonby ward. Thiswas more Labour Party propaganda

spectacularly backring and leavingvoters posing the question, if he cant

be honest with us on his own electionleaet, what chance is there he will

be honest with us when hes in thecouncil chamber. But it wasnt just the Labour Party thatwas using dirty tricks. Tory candidate

Jeanne Douglas, pulled the plug on anelection hustings that was due to take

place at the local community centreon the Tuesday before polling day.Organised by the Local ResidentsAction Group the event was publicisedin the local newspaper with the threecandidates given ten minutes each

before 60 minutes of questions. But with just 24 hours to go beforethe event Douglas said she would beunable to attend due to urgent family

business. But even Labour and the Toriesnegative campaigns couldnt preventa 4.5% swing to the BNP with NickPorter just 78 votes short of victory inthis formerly safe Labour seat.NICK PORTER: BNP vote up to 32.5%.

    L

EN Heather, the BritishNational Partys candidate in

the recent Noak Bridge ward parishcouncil by-election in Basildon inEssex, got a shock while he was outcampaigning on polling day.Len and his team had just set up a BNPstall along a busy main road, when acar drew up and two beautiful ladiesgot out and came to the stall. They wished me good luck and askedif they could have their photos takenwith me, said Len.I had no idea who they were andwas a bit stunned by the whole epi-sode which was certainly attractinga lot of attention from the public

passing-by.And that public interest was hardlysurprising because the ladies con-cerned were none other than one ofBritains top fashion models, Lauren

McAvoy and her Mum.Lauren has graced the front cover ofnumerous magazines and was winnerof the popular TV series Britains

Next Top Modelwhich made her ahousehold name.

The police were on hand to keep an

eye on everything and the whole inci-dent even made the pages of the nextdays issue ofThe Sun.Once all the excitement was over itwas back to campaigning for Len andhis team and all their hard work paidoff, for when the votes were countedthe BNP candidate had polled a morethan respectable 18% of the vote, in award being fought for the rst time.

Lying newspaper has to pay damages

JUSTICE: Clifford celebrates his victory over the lying media, with the cheque tothe Macmillan Nurses Charity and fellow BNP candidate Jenny Sampson.

THE Bradford newspaper, theTelegraph & Argus, has beenforced to make a public apology andpay compensation to charity afterfalsely smearing a BNP candidate.

Back in May, the newspaper claimedthat at the election count police hadto speak to BNP candidate CliffordCockayneafter he became involved inan altercation with another candidate. But the entire story was made-up, justto smear the BNP, and Clifford wasdetermined that this should be made

public knowledge. He issued a legalletter of demand against the newspaperand the Telegraph & Argus admittedguilt, printing a full retraction. It also agreed to pay 500 compensationto the Macmillan Nurses Charity, which had been nominated by Cliffordas the beneciary of his damagesclaim against the newspaper.

    Labours witch-huntbackres in Broadclyst

THE Conservative-run LondonBorough of Havering council isonce again trying to sell off its shel-tered housing stock - this time inChippenham Gardens, Harold Hill.

On Friday 5th September, the pension-ers living in the complex of councilowned bungalows were informed thattheir homes were going to be demol-ished, and they were to be moved overthe next twelve months and the landsold to a housing association. The Tories claim the bungalows must

be demolished because they wouldcost 2million to repair and nobodywants to live in them. This prompted a furious response fromlocal British National Party councillorMark Logan. These are most desirable bungalowswhich have had a considerable amountof money spent upon them to bringthem up to the Decent Homes Stan-dard. This included new kitchens, new

bathrooms, double glazing and centralheating. Its just another pack of Torylies to say people dont want to livehere. Every single resident I spoke towanted to stay, he said.

So keen are the council to get its handson the land in Chippenham Gardensthat it is offering tenants a cash incen-tive of nearly 5,000 to move out.In a letter to fellow councillors, MarkLogan pulled no punches in telling hiscolleagues how he felt on this issue:This borough is wasting money likeits water. The tenants are not inter-ested in the councils sordid bribe togets its hands on their homes. The senior citizens of any societyrepresent the bedrock of its existence. They symbolise the past and are thecarriers of tradition, values and expe-rience - they are the guiding light forthe next generation. The morality of asociety is judged by the way it treatsits old folk.

CHIPPENHAM GARDENS: BNP councillor Mark Logan, with some of the tenants ofthe bungalows the Conservative council wants to demolish.

Packed meeting hearsNick Grifn speak in Louth

APARTICULARLY nasty cam-paign led by Exeter MP BenBradshaw and Labour MEP for theSouth West, Glyn Ford, against aBNP councillor has spectacularlybackred.Colin Fribbens is a councillor forBroadclyst, a village in Devon whichrecently hosted a British NationalParty meeting with an attendance ofover 100 local people. The size of the meeting, packed nodoubt with many ex-Labour voters, upset Ben Bradshaw and Glyn Fordso much that they started a witchhunt against Colin, trying to whipup a campaign against him in the

press, on the Internet and by puttingout leaflets.Labour Party activists descendedon Broadclyst shoving thousands ofscurrilous leaets through letterboxesattacking the BNP. Bradshaw and Fordtried to whip up a storm in the local

Express & Echo newspaper, attackingCouncillor Fribbens and the British

National Party. They also got Labourmembers in the shopworkers unionUSDAW, to launch an online petitioncalling for Colin to be removed fromthe council.

But the witch-hunt has only createdmore interest in the BNP and sympa-thy for the parish councillor.Colin told theExpress & Echo:New members have been joining usas a result of all the publicity. Theysee the BNP as a common sense

party. They are generally fed up withLabour, the Liberal Democrats andthe Conservatives and are looking forsomething new.But it was in the letters pages of thelocal newspaper and on its websitethat the incredible support for Colinand criticism of the Labour witch-

hunt was most evident. The over-riding theme of the responses wastypied in a letter from Simon Gray:I would like to thank Colin for allof the work he has done and contin-ues to do for the village cricket club, the village youth club and the parish

council. This man should be thanked, sup-

ported and congratulated, not criti-cised.That was also the sentiment of theChairman of the Parish Council HenryMassey who ridiculed Labours call tohave Colin removed.

The only way possible would be avote of no condence, which due toall the hard work and dedication thatCllr Fribbens shows to Broadclyst- with little or no thanks - would beunlikely to receive any support, hetold theExpress & Echo .

COLIN FRIBBENS: Hard work and dedication makes him a popular councillor.

THERE was standing room onlywith more than 100 peoplein attendance at the Septembermeeting of East Lindsey BNP group

in Louth.Organiser Chris Birchmore, briefed themeeting on the election credibility thatthe group had built up by standing forthe rst time in the Louth Wolds seatof Lincolnshire County Council, withour popular candidate, the ReverendRobert West.Fundholder Jeff Drew, reported tothe meeting on the money raised forEast Lindsey BNP at the Red, White& Blue festival with its popular home-made burger stall. But it was British National Partychairman Nick Grifn, that the packedmeeting had come to hear, and hespoke about why Britain had to get outof the European Union and why we

must rebuild our countrys industrialbase in order to make our nation self-sufcient, which is essential to see usthrough the difcult times ahead.

After refreshments and a collectionwhich raised nearly 500, there was aBBC-style Question Time, with Nick

answering queries from the audiencerelating to the European Union, peakoil, self-sufciency, nuclear powerand the growing nancial crisis.

QUESTION TIME:Nick Grifn elds a range of questionsfrom an enthusiastic audience.

BNP wont be silenced onthe streets of Carlisle

THE Crown Prosecutions Ser-vice was duped by a LabourParty supporter into prosecutingClive Jefferson, the British NationalPartys Press Ofcer for Cumbria.A complaint was made to the policeduring the nal days of the BNP elec-tion campaign in the city, that Clivehad been driving a BNP loudspeakercar without being in proper control ofthe vehicle. The complainant said that he had beenlooking out of his bedroom window, across a large front garden and over tothe other side of a busy road where hesaw Clive driving at the same time asspeaking into a microphone. No policeofcers on duty at the time saw suchan offence being committed and therewere no other collaborating witnessesfrom other drivers or even aconcerned pedestrian.Bizarrely when the policereceived the call they treated itas a major investigation, alert-ing every CCTV camera inthe city to track the BNP cararound the city and sendingout a riot van and a back-upcar with full sirens and ash-ing lights to stop Clive loud-speakeringWhen the police presented

the evidence to the CPS, theydecided to prosecute and at the

beginning of September the casecame to Carlisle Magistrates Court. But the Bench wasnt impressed andafter hearing the prosecution caseand sitting through an hour of CCTVfootage, they called a halt to the pro-ceedings saying there was no case toanswer.Outside court, Clive told reporters:A crime was committed today, not

by me but by the CPS for bringingand pursuing this case when clearly Ihad done nothing wrong. Its political

persecution of the worst order and hascost the tax payers thousands, if nottens of thousands of pounds. At a timewhen crime is on the increase in WestCumbria, using the police, CCTVcameras, our courts and resources ona political witch-hunt is a scandal.

JUSTICE IS DONE:Clive Jefferson (with folder)

was supported in court by localBNP councillor Tony Carvill.

THE Government is looking to privatisean important part of British history by

hawking off Lord Nelsons legendary ag-ship HMS Victory, to the highest bidder inorder to save money. The Ministry of Defence claims the historic 18thcentury warship is too expensive to maintain.Victory was launched in 1765 and spent 34 yearsin service. She was Lord Horatio Nelsons ag-ship at the Battle of Trafalgar, and now has prideof place at the historic dockyard in Portsmouth. Its the main public attraction at the naval baseand its sell-off would be a betrayal of all thoseseafarers who have given their lives making upthe maritime history of these islands. Each year 500,000 visitors board the timber war-ship, appreciating the craftsmanship and payingtheir respects to Lord Nelson who died on itsdecks during the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.HMS Victory costs 1.5million to maintain andrun each year and the Government says that it

EURO -ELECTION APPEALThe British National Party is on the verge of a major breakthrough intomainstream politics. THE British National Partyscampaigning armoury isconsiderably enhanced with the

    recent addition of a hard-hitting

    anti-Tory leaflet, for distribution

    nationwide.

    Recent opinion polls show Tory

support at record-breaking levels of52%, well above those achieved byMrs Thatcher in her landslide vic-

tories of the 1980s. One poll even predicted David Cameron wouldbe returned to Westminster with anunassailable majority of 146 seats. The recent Mayoral elections dem-

onstrate the revival in Tory fortunesand the mistaken view on the part

of many voters that the Tory Partymay - yet again - be trusted. This

    unfounded belief is attracting those

who would ordinarily vote BNP andthat cost us 50 or so seats at the localelections in May and at least another

    seat on the London Assembley.

Many voters seem to have forgot-ten that it was the Tories, evenmore than Labour, who have visitedupon our country the destruction ofrecent decades, especially in terms

of immigration and EU ruleThis new leaflet places the history

of Tory treachery in stark relief and

is designed to remind voters of theTory betrayal of our country.

The purpose of the leaflet is three-

    fold:

n To educate the public in terms

    of fundamental Tory duplicity and

    treachery by depicting the CONser-

    vative Partys record.

n To inform voters of BNP poli-cies all of which have at one time informer decades been Tory policies

(always reneged upon) and are stillsupported by the average Tory (andLabour) voter.

n To make inroads into Tory sup-

port and gradually persuade votersto give their support to the British

THE British National Party believesin telling the truth, even if it issometimes uncomfortable to hear oroffensive to those who would ratherbury their heads in the sand than facereal problems in our society. But while we often pass quite criticalcomment on the impact of immigration,multi-culturalism and alien religions on

the indigenous people of our lands, wehave no animosity towards immigrants, their descendants or the followers ofnon-native religions.Nor do we intend to encourage othersto feel such animosity, or believe that

anything we have to say is likely to stirup hatred against anyone. In fact, webelieve that by providing a peaceful andConstitutional outlet for the anger and thefrustration felt by millions of our peopleover the undemocratic transformation ofour country by our political masters, theBNP actually defuses tensions.Where there is hate we seek to turn

it into righteous anger and politicalaction against the only people whodeserve to be hated - the politicianswho use our taxes to turn ourcountry into a place where we oftenfeel like strangers in our own land.

next door Newham (where over 75%of births are babies of non-Britishorigin) to towns and cities such asPeterborough, Luton, Leicester, Brad-

ford, and Birmingham, entire districtshave been Balkanised by the everincreasing Muslim population creat-ing within Great Britain, GreaterPakistan, Greater Bangladesh, andeven Greater Somalia.Within these semi-autonomous areasthere is no host community for thecolonists to integrate with becausethe host British have been ethni-cally cleansed. Now the new major-ity community are re-engineeringlocal society to replicate the Muslimsocieties they ostensibly left behind inPakistan or wherever when they cameto Britain. And what of the remaining fewBritons who nd themselves in theminority in these areas, will they beallowed their equal rights with the

majority population?Perhaps theres an example of whatthe future might hold in Lincoln? The Islamic Association of Lincoln

bought the Grade II listed St Mat-thews Church on Boultham ParkRoad and applied to turn it into amosque. Local residents opposed theapplication but then the building wasmysteriously burnt down.Locals have little doubt why this hashappened and who was behind it. Its ascorched earth policy which starts withthe destruction of the places of wor-ship of non-Muslims, and it is happen-ing in towns and cities across Britainwhere Islam is on the offensive.

ANEW study has shown thatthere is a serious vermin prob-lem in our hospitals, includingoperating theatres which should besterile. One urology unit had a problem withcockroaches, an oral surgery unitreported a problem with crickets, anddrain ies were found in operating the-atres. Wards and a renal unit in Leedswere found to have wasps nests.Pest control experts have warned that

insects could end up passing on infec-tions to vulnerable patients as thevermin are attracted to food waste, drains and clinical waste which couldcontain dangerous germs. As well as insects, rats and mice havealso been found in hospitals. Some

NHS Trusts had such severe problemsthat pest controllers were visiting oncea week to remove vermin. The biggest

problem was ants, followed by mice, rats and cockroaches. The NHS was once the envy of theworld until the Tories with their obses-sion with private contractors put anend to that. It has continued to declineunder Labour, with superbugs such asMRSA and Cdifcile making news.Whilst taxpayers money is spent on

over-inated salaries for health trustbosses, and even more money spent onincreasing numbers of health tourists, our once-great NHS will be incapableto provide even basic care for British

patients if they cannot even keep thewards clean and vermin-free.

NEW DEPTHS: Some hospitals have to have weekly visits from pest controllers.

    LEE HANCOCK: Polled nearly 19%.

THE British National Party pro-duced another encouraging elec-tion performance in a new area lastmonth when Worcestershire grouporganiser Lee Hancock, took nearly19% of the vote in the by-election forthe Evesham South ward. The area is a Tory stronghold and theindependent candidate was the formermayor of Evesham, so Lee was more

than pleased with his vote.To attract that level of support inan up-market area is a good result. It

proves that the BNP can make head-way in areas usually considered to besafe Conservative wards. The result followed a trend of quiteimpressive results for the BNP inWorcestershire. In the elections lastyear, the BNP polled 21% in the GorseHill ward and 15% in Nunnery ward. The Party had never contested a seatin Evesham before so the result, combined with the results from lastyear, stand the BNP in good stead in

THREE million children wereevacuated from Britains citiesduring World War II in what was the

largest internal mass migration ofpeople in the history of this country. It is an event that needs commemoratingand the Evacuees Reunion Association(ERA) is campaigning for a monumentto be erected in London to rememberthese brave child evacuees. On 10th September, 200 members ofthe ERA - all former evacuees - held ameeting at the Imperial War Museum todiscuss the progress of the campaign.Michael Aspel OBE, himself anevacuee, chaired the proceedings. Thesculptor, Maurice Blick, describedthe inspiration and design of theMemorial and a member of the steeringcommittee reported on the need to raise1million.All former child evacuees have theirown memories from those days ranging

from the happy to the horric, butone of the patrons of the ERA, Lord

Janner of Braunstone QC, was given a

specic slot on the agenda to recounthis personal experiences, although thishad nothing to do with the monument. His parents came to this country beforeWorld War II but when war broke outand things looked bad for Britain, heand his sister were evacuated to Canadawhere he said he had an unhappy time

because he was bullied.Janner then spent the rest of his speechextolling the wonders of multiculturalismmuch to the bemusement of hisaudience. He said that in Leicester, themajority of the population would soon

be non-white and that was somethingthat everyone should be celebrating. It was very apparent that he didnot like, identify with or have anysympathy with the indigenous British

people who had given him a home all

those years ago. Before the meeting I had been talkingto a lady who after the war hadlived in Acton in West London. She

lamented how the whole area had now

changed beyond recognition becauseof the presence of large numbers ofimmigrants. Yet, despite this, she

joined in the polite applause at theend of Janners speech which madeone wonder how many of the otherswho were clapping really agreed withwhat he was saying. I sat with my armsrmly folded. The ERA has been informed by theGovernment that no public money will

be available for the Memorial whichwas not surprising as it is extremelyunusual for a Government to providefunding in such cases.Yet that same Government hasannounced that it intends to provideseveral million pounds for a Memorialto be erected to an entrance of HydePark, to draw attention to Britains role

in the Slave Trade.Doesnt this just go to show where thepriorities of todays Establishmentpoliticians lie?

GREVILLE JANNER: More interested inextolling the wonders of multi-culturalism.

EVACUEES: These children from Newcastle were evacuated to Cumbria.

Money for slave trade guiltstatue but not for a monument

to Britains child evacueesMY memories of Kings College Hospital are rather sad ones. When I was there many years ago it was to visit a young girlwho was seriously ill, but I do remember how relaxed and wellordered the hospital was. Visiting times were adhered to strictlyand there was no need for any additional security at the entrances.Contrast that if you will to the present day as described in The Observeron September 7th, reporting on a ght that broke out at the entrance tothe Accident and Emergency unit.It seems that three stab victims presented themselves there fortreatment, only to be followed shortly afterwards by their assailants. The three victims then phoned their friends for help and when thisgroup arrived a ght broke out in the entrance to the A& E. This thenspilled over into the area behind the reception and they began chasingeach other between the distraught patients, causing mayhem. Some ofthem even hid in cubicles to escape rivals who wanted to stab them. The whole episode was only brought to an end by the arrival of thepolice who arrested all involved. A knife was later found discarded ona trolley and another in a rubbish bin.

Its a story line too far-fetched even for Casualty to run even if theprogramme makers depicted all the protagonists as being White to meetthe BBCs political correctness criteria. They say that truth is strangerthan ction, today it seems it is more horrifying as well.Perhaps Richard Barnbrook, our representative on the London Assemblycould raise the question of hospital security with the members there?Although the way that he was treated with such derision and disdain bythe Court of King Boris when he tried to draw its attention to the waythe Notting Hill Carnival had descended into riot, I dont hold out muchhope of them taking the issue seriously.

If only the electorate of London could see how their representatives behave when such an important issue as law and order is raised byRichard, the only member who shows any concern, they would behorried. Boris and his courtiers just sit around and laugh and snigger. What a disgrace!

Arecent article in The Guardian appeared to be lamenting the factthat most of our Olympic medallists were White, attributingour success in the sitting down sports such as sailing, rowing andcycling, to our innate laziness.I have to say that after watching Ben Ainslie skillfully manoeuvring hisboat on choppy waters in torrential rain and squally winds, that had hebeen innately lazy Im sure he would have capsized! The report dismissed cycling and rowing as dull sports, obviously notappreciating the skill shown by the pursuit team, who cycle at speedwith barely a few inches between their wheels and a team memberthen has to make a split second decision to move over to gain benetfrom the slip stream. It requires impeccable timing.

The journalist put success in sport down to money but there are otherforces at play. Take the Olympic pool where White swimmers dominateand the track where Black sprinters hold sway. The fact is that white people have lighter skeletons and larger chestcavities which makes them better swimmers. Genetic differences alsoexplain why Black athletes with less body fat and narrower hips whichgives them a more efcient stride, always seem to win the track events. For a level playing eld, the answer would be separate events forblacks and whites for running and swimming, but that would force theauthorities to acknowledge thatthere are genetic differencesbetween the races.Meanwhile the Olympics becomes a bit of a farce asathletes from predominantlywhite countries can neverexpect to win in the sprintson the track, and blacks rarelywin in the swimming pool.

The authorities are strangelyquiet on these issues.

    boat on choppy waters.

    www.forum.bnp.org.uk

    Not the Party it was

    Inaccurate Marxism

    Its inexcusable!

CAN I suggest that the next BNPpolitical broadcast concentrateson economics.Gordon Brown bleats that none of thiseconomic collapse was predictable, andall our woes are due to rogue bankers

playing roulette with oil prices andundermining our economy. In contrast, we could point to ourlong-standing prediction of the oilshortage and the economic collapse. The broadcast could stress how wehave always campaigned for a vibrantmanufacturing sector and opposedimmigration because it would createunemployment and put an extra stress

on our social services. We could showarticles from Freedom and Identity tosupport what we are saying. This would demonstrate that:We are not a one issue party. That we have the depth of experience torun an economy. That we would have done a better jobthan New Labour. That we have a high-quality magazineand newspaper(that most people knownothing about).Ralph Ellis, Vale Royal.

GORDON Browns attack on theBNP in his conference speechshows that New Labour intendsto carry on with its immigration, diversity and enrichmentprogramme! The White working class must nowdesert Labour. Today its a party of big

business, multi-culturalism and massimmigration and far removed from theParty their mothers and fathers oncealways voted for!Rory Allanson. London.

SORRY to be a moaner but wouldit be possible for Freedom toinclude a simple reminder (seemsit needs to be continual) on how todisplay the union ag correctly!I do get annoyed when I see photographs, especially on the BNP website, ofour countrys ag being displayedincorrectly either as a backdrop, on

podiums, or even on tents at the RWB.As a patriotic party, to have ourmembers displaying their nationalidentity incorrectly is inexcusable.Peter Youngman, Norwich.

AS THE Government is turning itsback on millions of people whoare struggling to pay their fuel bills,it presents the British National Partya great opportunity to promote aninitiative that none of the old gangparties are able to.The BNP should propose the removal ofVAT on domestic fuel. None of the main

parties can propose this as it has to becharged to comply with European Law.Only an independent Britain could takecontrol of its own taxation. If anyone argues that this would leavea black hole in the public purse, wecan point out that the 43million givenaway each day as a net contributor to theEuropean Union could cover this.It would benet every British family, rich and poor, but the poor would feelthe biggest benet.

    Alan Butler, Newcastle.

I WAS gratied that Freedomreported on the events that hadreally taken place at the Notting HillCarnival, unlike the mainstreampress which made no reference tothe riot at Ladbroke Grove station.I live in the area and experienced rsthand the boarded-up shops, sealed letter

boxes and the constant drone of policehelicopters. There was security fencing

placed everywhere and vandalised carslittered the streets making the place feellike a war zone. Then of course therewas the annual chore of clearing upthe detritus thrown into our communalgarden and the disinfecting of the

garages that had been used as a urinal. The media hype claimed local peopleenjoyed the event. The reality from myown observations and knowledge of thearea is that this Bank Holiday sees local

people leave the area with shutteredwindows, unlit properties and empty

pubs a testament to this. The councileven provides holidays to Folkestonefor older residents because they nd thewhole weekend so upsetting.I do not regard it as reasonable thatresidents should have to endure thisevent every year just to salve theconsciences of the liberal media andthree Establishment political parties.Steve Dunkin, Notting Hill. MUSLIM separatists in theChinese province of Xinjiang

took advantage of the focus on Chinadue to the Olympic Games to launcha suicide bombing campaign, causingdeath and terror on a wide scale. With the exception of the Tamil Tigersin Sri Lanka, only Muslims stoop solow as to use suicide bombers. Howcan Islam claim to be peaceful andcompassionate when its followersallow this slaughter of innocents?

No country with a large Muslim population can rest easy. We havealready suffered in Great Britain fromthe actions of Muslim terrorists and weare due another shock when the nextnational census will reveal the true sizeof the Muslim colonial population inour country - not the 1.5 million touted

by our political masters, but more like 3million and rising rapidly.John Maddox, London.

    M

    ARXIST philosophy, often

quoted by union leaders, assumes that all people are the same,as they all have the same commonneeds, such as holding down a joband feeding their families. But this assumption is incomplete,(and therefore inaccurate) as added to

it should be . . . and living out theirlives within the context of their respec-tive ethnic and cultural identities.Liberals and Marxists live in a theo-retical world and fail to recognise thereality of human nature, part of whichdictates that all people have a need and- especially in the case of indigenous

peoples - a right to live out their livesaccording to their cultural identities.

    Peter Bloor, email.

SPECIAL ISSUE: Last month saw the rst of a series of mass circulation edi tions ofFreedom which gives the public at large aninsight into the true face of the British National Party. Here activists distribute the newspaper in Exeter city centre.

IT IS always very rewarding when the policies that youhave been advocating for over a quarter of a century, aresuddenly taken on board by the experts. Especially so whenfor much of that time those policies have been ridiculed byour political opponents who have called us, amongst otherthings, Little Englanders .The British National Partys energy policy states that if inGovernment we would ensure that Britain produces all the energynecessary to meet our peoples needs and is never reliant on foreignsupplies to keep our industry working and our people warm.

Now BNP policy and our analysis of the energy crisis is beingechoed by the industrys top analysts.David Hunter, energy guru at consultants McKinnon & Clarke, observed last month:EDFs purchase of British Energy was the Governments get-out-of-jail-free card. There are tough decisions to be made, as the realityis that Britain will run out of power. Our crumbling infrastructureand lack of political will to sort this out have left assets ripe forpicking off by larger European energy companies. It is our view that the Government must swing its weight behind gettingnew stations built, and not just nuclear. Coal will be part of the solution- allied to carbon-capture technology - in addition to renewables.Added to this the Energy Intensive Users Group (EIUG)representing big industrial power users, said the soaring price ofgas and electricity in Britain put British rms at a permanentcompetitive disadvantage compared to their foreign rivals.EIUG has compiled a list of companies that have shut up shop, moved production abroad, or curtailed operations as a result of the

energy price increases which reveals that over 6,000 jobs have beenlost in the glass sector alone over the past 18 months. The main cost rise has been for gas, increasing 300% in justthree years which in turn pushes up the price of electricity andraw materials - all of which are indigenously sourced in the UKand some of which, notably soda ash, are supplied from otherenergy-intensive industries.EIUG spokesman Jeremy Nicholson, highlighted another weaknessof Britains energy supply - lack of reserve storage. The UK has gas storage equivalent to a dozen days demand, heexplained. In Germany and America, they have 90 days. This is what the BNP has been saying all along. Both Labourand Conservative Governments have squandered our own gasreserves to make us dependent on foreign supplies, and allthe while failing to make sure we have the capacity to storereserves if these supplies are interrupted. There is no doubtwho will be to blame when the lights go out and our old folkand most vulnerable start dying of hyperthermia.

THERE was a pleasant surprisein the by-election for Newbarnsward on Barrow Council with BNPcandidate Mike Ashburner, pullinga cracking result out of the bag in aTory stronghold.Contesting this election was all about

building up the local BNP unit inthe South Cumbrian town and wastherefore as much about attractingnew members and supporters as it wasabout the number of votes polled.Mike and his team were hoping to

    WHEN Gwent BNP organiser

Anthony King and localactivist David Toms, held a Buy

British morning of action at ashopping centre on North Roadin Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran it cer-tainly created a lot of interest. They took up position outside one ofthe shops which happened to be theCo-Op and after a couple of hourshad handed out over 100 leaets andsold ten newspapers. But the store manager, a gentlemanof Asian appearance, wasnt happyand came out and asked Anthonyand David to move on. When theyrefused, there followed the most

bizarre of incidents.A young shop assistant came outstated that her manager wanted usto move along, as . . the Co-Opdid not promote British produce andonly supported Fair Trade food from

Africa so it would be best to leave! What made the exchange so strangewas that that very same Co-Op storecarried an advert in the window alongwith the Welsh ag, saying CYM-

    port local producers.

THERE were more than ftymembers and supporters atthe inaugural meeting of the Dart-ford & District group of the BritishNational Party.

New local organiser Barry Taylor, introduced Richard Trower fromCrawley who spoke on the impor-tance of community activism, andAndrew McBride, the BNPs South

East regional organiser, who gave a passionate address on how only theBritish National Party could safe-guard our culture and way of life bygaining greater inuence throughwinning more elections.Barry Taylor shared with the audiencethe reasons why he decided to standup and be counted to promote theBNP and how he intended to get itestablished in Dartford with the help

538 VOTES GAINED IN FIRST CAMPAIGN

BNP on course to win nexttime in Wickersley wardIT WAS another incredible resultin Rotherham on Thursday 28thAugust when BNP candidate JonRound came from nowhere to take

third place with nearly 20% ofthe vote in the towns Wickersleyward.Back in May the British NationalParty had won two seats in Rotherhamwhich sent shockwaves through thelocal political Establishment andnow, after this result, a third BNPcouncillor looks on the cards the nexttime the ward is contested.Thats because the combined BNP andUKIP vote was more than the winningLabour candidate received and withthe UKIP unlikely to contest the seat

again, the BNP will have a clear runto capture the ward from Labour.Rotherham organiser Marlene Guest, was full of praise for her hard workingteam but wanted to single out twohelpers in particular.Sometimes there are one or two

people who stand out for the supremeeffort they made and Neil and CherylThompson are two such people,Marlene toldFreedom.Neil was injured in an accident andhas been in a wheelchair for twentyyears but this doesnt stop him.

Together with Cheryl they foldedthousands of leaets and then theywent leaeting with Neil in his invalidcar sorting out the routes while Cheryldelivered the leaets. The professionalism of the British

National Partys campaign, with threeleaets and a DVD delivered to mosthouseholds, surprised the oppositionand obviously impressed voters, asthe 538 rst-time vote testied.JON ROUND: 19.2% vote share.

THIRTY-THREE ofcials representing 22 Brit-ish National Party units attended a North WestRegional Council meeting in Cheshire last month.Ralph Ellis chaired the event, at which each representa-tive gave a quarterly report, before BNP chairman NickGrifn, gave a summary of the regions progress, andlaid out what was expected of ofcials over the comingmonths. North West Secretary Duncan Warner, reportedon legal action being taken on illegal anti-BNP third

party leaets, while Paul Stafford gave a talk on theimportance of standing for town & parish councils.Three motions were proposed for the Annual Conferencein November - theAbolition of the Congestion Charge(Alan Payne), Alternatives to Peak Oil(Nick Grifn),and the Traditional Family Unit(Peter Molloy).Ralph Ellis closed the proceedings, and everyone tuckedinto the impressive buffet prepared by Jan Williams andher daughter Nicola.

completed a comprehensive leaetdelivery to all the homes in the pic-turesque village of Silverton nestledinto the quiet Devon countryside.Local organiser Mike Turner, was

pleased with the way the activitywent. It was a great success and carried outwith minimal planning. The peopleof this village, who normally get leftout of main stream political issues,

are a close-knit community, yet theywelcomed us with an open mind andeven offered our leaeters cups of tea

and glasses of squash. The village is a credit to the resi-dents. One local said that they allworked together to make sure it iskept clean and tidy and that an eyeis kept on the older folk of the villagein case they need help.
