Introduction

As a company administrator you have access to advanced user management functions (manage the number of users, reset passwords, create, edit or remove user access) within Ready Hub.

This guide will provide detailed information on how to process these requests.

Manage user

Select User from the Manage heading.

As an administrator of your company, you have access to user management options accessible via the Ready Hub Menu, available from the manage user section.

• Create User - page 4 - 8• Suspend User - page 9• Activate User - page 10• Reset Password - page 11 - 12

Hover over Menu to display the menu options.

Manage user

From here you can search, create, edit, view profiles, reset passwords, activate or suspend users to remove access.

Note: admin users will need to contact their Vodafone Support team for manual password resets, permission changes (for products) and to activate suspended profiles.

Suspend a userClicking Suspend User will prevent the user from being able to log in.

Find an existing user You can search by:

• First name• User type • Primary organisation (your company name)• User login (email address)• Email id• User status

Then click Search.

Search results will be displayed on the right hand side under Users.

Create a user Click Create user, then continue to page 5.

To View a users profileFind the user in the list of search results, click the underlined name of the user.

Reset a PasswordClicking Reset password will take you to a screen where you can choose to either manually change the password, email a reset link to the users recovery email address or send an SMS code to the recovery mobile number.

Edit a userClick to edit this user.

Create user

Enter information into all fields marked mandatory to create a new user.

Note: when creating a new user you are unable to create admin users (the option is not available from the user type drop-down).

Create the 'Customer' user, then contact your Vodafone support team to update the user type.

Email IDEnter a valid email address.

Note: the email address entered will auto-populate in the 'User login' field below.

User type From the drop down box select:

Cancel Clicking Cancel will return you to the previous screen, you will lose any data you entered on this page.

Organisation details When you have completed all fields on this screen, click Organisation details, where you will select the which organisation this user can access.

Create user – assign organisations

Organisation name Select your organisation from the drop down box, then click Search to display the organisation.

SelectClicking Select will set this organisation as the primary organisation for this user.

Basic informationClicking Basic information will take you back to the previous screen.

RolesWhen you have finished adding the organisation, click Roles to define the permissions for this user.

All users must have a primary business(organisation) assigned to them, assign your organisation to the user.

In this screen, you will determine the information (roles) this user will have access to.

Create user – assign roles

Search rolesYou can search for a role by entering part of its name.

Add rolesClick to add roles to the users role in the Roles summary.

Note: you can only assign permissions (for products) that you have access to and are listed under Roles.

Add the roles:Service Requests - Raise (Business)Service Requests - View (Business)

Organisation details Clicking Organisation details will take you back to the previous screen.

Summary Click Summary to view the users details.

Add the role: MyBusiness

Changing the MyBusiness admin?Place a tick in the 'Tick if the user is a MyBusiness Administrator' box.

Note: there can be only one MyBusiness admin user.

Create user – summary

Having entered all the required information to create the user, the summary screen is displayed, allowing you to review the content.

Once you click Submit you will be asked to provide a reference and reason for the action.

A Ready Hub welcome email will be sent to the new users email address which will contain their username, password and the website address to access Ready Hub.

Edit If updates are necessary, you can click

to edit the relevant section.

SubmitTo create a user, click Submit which will take you to a dialogue box requesting a reference number and/or reason for the user creation.

RolesClicking Roles will take you back to the previous screen.

Suspend user

A Ready Hub user account can either be manually Suspended by a company admin or, Vodafone support team or automatically if the user has not logged in for 120 consecutive days. The user account will still be available to re-activate if required.

Note: in all cases an email notification will be sent to the suspended user.

To manually suspend a user account• Hover over Menu to display the menu options.• Under the Manage heading select User.• Search for the user you need to suspend.• Click Suspend user.• You will be asked to provide a reference and reason for the action.

Activate user

A Ready Hub user account can be activated by a company admin or the Vodafone support team.

A suspended admin user can only be activated by Vodafone Support teams.

Note: an email notification will be sent to the user.

To manually activate a user account• Hover over Menu display the menu options.• Under the Manage heading select User.• Search for the user you need to activate.• Click Activate user.• You will be asked to provide a reference and reason for the action.

Reset password

The password of a Ready Hub user can be reset by a company admin or the Vodafone support team.

Users can change their own password in the Profile section (if already logged in).

Forgotten passwords can be reset by the user clicking the Forgot your password link on the Ready Hub login page, provided they know and have access to their recovery email address and/or mobile number.

Note: company admin users will need to use one of the above options or contact their Vodafone Support team for a manual password reset.

To manually reset the password for a user• Hover over Menu to display the menu options.• Under the Manage heading select User.• Search for the user which requires the password reset.• Click Reset password and choose the method you wish to use (continued on

page 12).

• To access the Profile section advise the user to hover their mouse over Menuto display the menu options.

• Under the Manage heading select Profile.

Reset password continued

There are two methods available for resetting a users password:

Manually change the password Select this option and enter the users new password twice, then click Reset password.

Note: you cannot use the last 5 (used) passwords.

Note: you will need to enter a reference number and reason for resetting the password.

• Manually change the password, where you enter a password.• Help the user to reset their password themselves , where you will either send an email reset link to the users recovery email address,

or send an SMS code (text message) to the recovery mobile number.

Help the user to reset their password themselves Select one of the displayed options, then click Reset password.

Note: if no options are displayed the user has not set up their recovery options - manually change the password.
