    VISUALIZATION

Every one of us needs to have a visual of what we want achieved but often times

our minds play tricks on us and we always keep the negative visuals in our minds

    more than the positive ones.

Before I totally became aware of the power our brains emit, I was very lose with my

thoughts and I entertained a lot of negativity which affected what happened to me.

In his book Think and Grow ich! "apoleon #ill talks of our thoughts as a television

screen which reveals to the universe what we want to happen and if there is doubt

in our minds that$s what will be seen hence nothing happening at all.

%m not saying people should no longer be scared, no. what am trying to say is what

&ill 'mith told his son (atari in the movie %fter Earth that danger is real but fear is

not real!. If you want to become or achieve your dream whatever it is, always

remember the above statement and you$ll get out of that situation where you are a

constant dreamer and not a doer.

#aving a focused visual of who you want to become is the single best key to

opening the doors or the plateau to becoming the highest or best you. I will tell you

a story about my young niece )aika.

)aika is turning four years ne*t year but when she was in her early months as a

three year old she had a chance to be ridden on their builders bicycle. The builder

put her on the bike and rode her around the compound. That e*perience left her

only one feeling she wanted to have her own bicycle.

That evening when her father came home, )aika ran into his arms and told him all

about her ride on the bicycle and she asked him if he would buy her, her own

bicycle. #er father didn$t want to spoil her day so he agreed to buy her a bicycle

knowing at the back of his mind that a mere three year old who knew only +

words would not push her mind to keep the visual of her riding on her own bicycle.

Every evening )aika came back from daycare and asked the builder to ride her

around. Every ride made her even more focused on owning her own bicycle. #er

father sat her down one evening to coa* her into forgetting about owning a bicycle.

#e told her young girls are not supposed to ride bicycles but she challenged her

father by telling him she had already ridden one and nothing bad had happened to

    her.

#er father decided to buy her a doll the ne*t day and brought it home to change her

mind but )aika looked gleefully into his face and said thanks -addy but this is a

doll, I need a bicycle. The ne*t day her mother told her father to trick her and buy

for her a ball but when her father brought it home she said thank you to him and

still acknowledged the fact that it was ust a ball and not a bicycle.

)onths went by without )aika getting her bicycle and she decided to televise her

vision, she let me know, she let her grandmother know about her petition, her uncle

and all her aunties. Everyone thought well she is too young to own a bicycle. &ell

she caused a lot of bu// for the bicycle in that every one of us called and asked her

father why )aika wasn$t getting her bicycle.

#er father gave up on delaying the purchase of the bicycle and certainly bought her

one but he didn$t let any of us know so her grandmother bought her a bicycle and

both her aunties and uncle bought bikes without knowing she had already got one.

)oral of the story is when you keep your dreams a live with compelling visuals0 they

will be released in thousands of rewards. )aika not only got a bike from her father

but also got five bicycles in one re1uest.

I have always got frustrated when my dream visuals are met with the first reection

but watching my niece achieve more with visuali/ation and focus I have realised

that everything is possible if your visuals are backed with confidence and a lot more

    goals with well defined goals.

)aika knew her father could afford that bicycle that$s why she asked for it and each

of us had bought her toys and clothes so she knew we could afford to buy her the

bike. 2riends whatever you want out of life will only be achieved if you back it up

    with the right visual.

I give you three biblical e*amples where visuals and proclamations made things

happen in the bible0 one the scenario where (ing -avid was anointed king in his

young age. It took him fifteen years to become king and in those years very bad

things happened to cut his dream short. 2irst 'aul really wanted him dead because

he was scared of him so he sent out his servants to go capture him and bring him

    back.

&ord reached 'aul that -avid had escaped to the camps of amah where the

prophets lived. 'aul sent some men to arrest -avid and found a group of prophets

prophesying and the spirit of God fell on these men and they too started

prophesying. 'aul heard about it and he sent more messengers but they fell under

the same spell and so did 'aul. They all prophesied about the coming of the new

king. -avid kept the visual in his mind and never lost focus of it. Even when he

struck Goliath he came in the name of the lord almighty, the God of Israel who

anointed him as king. -avid knew his role was to protect Israel even though hewasn$t yet king.

The second scenario is with 3oseph the dreamer0 he had a vivid dream when his

brothers were bowing before him. #is father having known the meaning of the

dream made for him a court of many colours to set him apart from the crowd which

in this case were his brothers. 3oseph kept the dream in his head and even when he

was down in the pit before selling him into slavery and in ail he ust asked the wine

maker to tell the king about him. "otice 3oseph didn$t ask him to get him a lawyer to

plead his case because the wine maker was certainly rich0 all he wanted was to let

the king know about him. #e kept the vision.

%nd lastly father %braham who has many sons, so father %braham and you are one

of them. %braham was distressed and even his sole proect to have a child with hismaid servant met with disregard from God. 'o one day, he decided to give him a

visual of what would become of his offspring$s, the ambassadors of faith, the

followers of 3esus 4hrist. God said to him look at the sky can you count all those

stars and he said no, God proceeded to tell him he$ll will be the father of many

nations. The visual was to stir him up in faith again to know that God can give him

much more even heavens best which was 3esus 4hrist to seal the deal for

%braham$s uncountable children around the world.

&hat am trying to ustify here is visuali/ation is very important to a dreamer and

everyone of the e*amples above have been successful because the television of

your mind has been broadcasting the same news bulleting that the universe getstired of old news and delivers so you can move onto the ne*t news bulletin.

5our life will be much more fulfilled when you see your dreams one after the other

being achieved like I have seen mine come true with visuali/ation.
